Holly and I are going to Forks in the morning for a few nights. Just looking around, have not been over there for over 20 years. This is just a lookylu trip. Coming back by Tradewinds place, Might give him a call who knows he might be home.

You know that's "Twilight" country now, don 't you?!? Better read up before you go, everything there has to do with Bella and the rest of the gang! Have a good trip.

Tradewinds, don't say that or you'll jinx yourselves.

So there we were at a winery in Zillah when who should walk out but Hobo and Holly. It was nice to catch up with them for a few minutes before they had to go. [emoticon]

Tom & Laura,

Was that the Portteus Winery you saw Hobo & Holly at in Zillah. They are friends of ours and as we were getting back in May we were there. They said that they had someone in a motorhome stay over night at the vineyard/winery.

Ron, no, it was Horizon's Edge. We don't have a motorhome anyway. We have a trailer.

Had a good week, Hobo and Holly were here for a visit and we got to catch up on what has been going on and then BigDog and I had coffee for a couple of hours. Nice to see good RV Friends...

For all of you still following this thread, it's official, we're heading back to WA. Yes, we're giving up the hot and humid FL weather, not because it's hot and humid, but because I still don't have a job yet. We figured it would be nicer to be broke around family and friends. [emoticon]

We will be leaving here on Wednesday, 7/23 (4 days from now), and should arrive in Elma WA on 8/4 if all goes according to plan. 11 stops in 12 days, about 300 miles between most of the stops. Going to swing by the south rim of the Grand Canyon and hope the view is better than when we stopped on the north side several years ago.

I might have a job shortly after we get there. I've had a few good interviews with a company in Kirkland. The hiring manager is on vacation at the same time we're on our way back that way, so I'm hoping to hear good news shortly after our arrival. If not, back to job hunting. [emoticon]

Great news, David and Laura--and it will be even better if you get the job in Kirkland! Have a safe trip and be aware of the wildfires in Oregon and Washington.

Thanks Linda. I've been reading about the fires online. Pretty sad, but pretty common this time of year. I don't think we'll run into any problems with fires. We are heading NW from here, hit I-40 in Memphis, head west from there until I-5 in CA, then home. Hoping we don't run into any tornadoes. [emoticon]
