Finally got around to logging in a seeing who is still around. Sorry to hear that the NW Rally is ending. We haven't been is a few years due to work and other obligations. Certainly miss everyone and hope to catch a lunch or two with you guys in Fife. David, Sorry to hear you got laid off from King County, but it appears you landed on your feet and are in a better place. Hobo, Sorry to hear that you sold your trailer, but certainly understand. We must do lunch soon in Fife. Bigdog, I thought you retired? Guess you missed all the that screaming on the bus. Could couldn't have come back for the money! Tradewinds, Glad to see your still on the road wearing out that motorhome. Wish we could do more traveling ourselves. Ryan, See from facebook that you started your own business. Good for you! For the rest of you, glad to see that you are all busy traveling and enjoying life. I'll try and check back more often. If the Rally stops, it'll be hard to check in to see how everybody is doing. Sorry to hear that things have gone down hill, it was great fun while it lasted. Teri and I miss the rallies and fun we had with all of you. Each year we had hoped to make another one, but life just got in the way. I won't go into it. but I have had a few surgeries and am headed to Boise next Fri for another, I got more new parts then an overhauled chevy, that and the price of gas just took us out of the running. We still live in Pollock Idaho, and there is an RV next door, Canyon Pines, nice people. If any of you get down this way look us up. Rodger & Teri

Some thoughts....We can keep in contact by Keeping the NW RV NET RAlLY Site open each year and stay in contact that way. Hopefully we can set up someplace to meet when possible like BigDog use to do with the gathering at Port Townsend. We just rolled 140,000 miles on the Tradewinds, I do not think a lot of people get that many miles on their rigs. Any of you that are going to be in Yuma, we have a full hookup 50amp site on our lot that is there for the using. Just check with us to make sure someone is not scheduled to be in it and its yours to use. We have just completed another addition to our place here and its really starting to feel like home. We consider every one of you as good friends and we looked forward to seeing you anytime we can. Bob and Sue. Hey Tradewinds, when are you folks coming back? I surely could use some coffee. I'm into my fourth week of radiation for my salivary gland cancer and starting to hate every minute of it. The treatment is quick every day,20 minutes to Poulsbo,10 minutes there and then twenty minutes home. Just don't like the effect it's having on my mouth, can't drink beer or eat spicy foods or crackers or chips. Man,that's a real bummer with the super bowl tomorrow. I did have some Monk's Indescretion from Sound Brewery last night at Toro Lounge and that went down really well, but then it's 10.1% and ought to go down well. It's a really smooth Belgian.

Holly and I just got back from a 1690 mile motor trip. We saw Rodger and Teri in Pollack, Idaho Tom and Lurea. They were in Zella, WA at a winery just by our good luck. Then we went in to Yakama and saw Chuck and Mary. They have a new home sure is nice. Was really good to be on the road again, but we get tired very soon. Oh yes that thing came around again so now I am 81 years old. I sure hope you guys can get back to another year of the old campouts. Come on Bigdog don't let it die. Miss you all. Hobo |
