Jon & Nikki - be sure to get in contact with us when you get down here in the Valley of the Sun and we will have you over for dinner.

The temps are finally below triple digits and the evenings are cooling off down to the 70's!! Great to be here.

Even though we sold the rig this past summer, great to keep track of everyone and see that you maybe getting together next summer.

Dick - I thought you guys were traveling and getting back into the warm weather! Sounds like your back up in Spokane.

For us "Easterners", a rally site in Western Montana or Northern Idaho sure would be nice.
Cle Elum is great, but as I get older it has become a 2 day trip to get there and 2 days back.
It has been years since I was able to make the rally, maybe I am the only "Easterner" now.

Jeanne says that we've been to Whispering pines twice now,but she thinks that we should go back to Wine Country in McMinnville, yes been there twice also and more wine tasting, or to Raymond or Elma RV park. For the shoppers, there is also Midway in Centralia.

[emoticon] I know that I'll probably get in trouble for this, but I'll volunteer to help wagonmaster on this one and see if we can get it back up to our previous status.[emoticon]

So,here it goes.
1) I'm open for just about anywhere within reason,so send me your suggestions and we'll go with the majority. There are some parks out there with cabins or nearby motels for those who are off the road.

2) I need to know when you want this. I'm leaning towards the summer and mebbee we could do a long and short rally. In other words,we could make a period of time from say, wednesday to whenever and include the weekend. That way folks could make it a bit of a vacation time or just for the weekend.

3) I'm out of practise and am going to need some help.

Okayhere it goes.

What about Yakama Nation RV in Toppenish? Just have to keep booze out of sight! Nice park and has large meeting tent!

If you want to try a new place, there's a new park in Kennewick, Columbia Sun RV Resort, that just opened a year ago this past August, that has big sites and a decent sized recreation hall. Don't know any specifics about groups, etc., but we like the park.

Doing this on my tablet. Computer died and went to BestBuy to get well...keep the suggestions coming...i am still leaning towards Raymond to keep cost down. The idea is to keep it simple. I am also looking at July or August. I am looking at this costing no one any extra money or a lot of work. Maybe a boiled breakfast at the most..Bigdog we can talk on phone or over the net. Probably Thursday thru Sunday. People can plan around that to add days elsewhere etc. Raymond is on the golf course. Water power wifi. Sewer dump. All grass very nice. Nice firepit for gathering around and a building to use....

Bigdog,

Tradewinds was first to try and get another gathering together, so let HIM run with it first.

Kenniwick could be nice except for July heat. We have been to Horn Rapids and that was nice. We weren't too happy with Toppenishas as they put us on one side of the park and it was a bit of a hike for some folks that attended.

For everyone still following this thread...

Laura and I are in Richland WA at Horn Rapids RV Resort. I started a new job (contract) at Lockheed Martin (Hanford) a couple weeks ago.

What would you think about having a rally over here?

Horn Rapids is a nice park, although not much to do here. They have a nice clubhouse that would suit us well. There was a rally here several years ago and it's one of the few that we missed. Richland is just a couple miles down the road, Kenniwick is a few more past that. [emoticon]

If you would like to have a rally here, let me know. And let me know when you think would be a good time to have it here.
