Big Dog, stop in at Pioneer Coffee and see if my kid is around. Ask one of the barista's at the counter. If he is there he can steer you to a good place to eat. They have good food there at the coffee shop too. Very comfortable seating and of course good coffee..He might be off this week, not real sure...

BigDog, we need to reach out to as many of the people who have attended our gatherings in the past to see if we have the interest, How does you address book look. Mine is pretty limited. I am looking at maybe August or June....

TC Life, we are going to see if we have enough interest before we try to secure a site. At one time we have 40 rigs show up early on after starting with just a few and then it tapered off. If we can get 10 rigs or so that are interested then I will check with a couple of parks. I lean towards CLe Elum Whispering Pines as its centrally located to the state but if all the people are from the NW side of the mountains then we will look at a couple of other options. There is a very nice little campground in Raymond also that I have used for gatherings and its much cheaper than Whispering Pines.

We would be interested--but it will depend on when it will be held--and if and when I get a new knee.

Jon, the Ramaker name sounds somewhat familiar but I don't remember for sure.
As far as an eating place the Cottage Café at the east end of town on the north side of fist street would be the best. It has been a popular local place since I was a kid. Sandi always asks me to take her there as she loves their Ruben sandwich. There is a lot of parking behind - lots of truckers eat there.
If you folks consider Cle Elum for a rally let me know and I will talk to Sharron who was also a classmate of mine. She just lost her husband Terry a little over a month ago but is still running the park.

HI Dick, sorry to hear that Sharon lost her husband, did not know that. I talked to her a month ago I think. I have a rally there in August next year for the Sounder Sam's our local GoodSam chapter. One of the reason I was thinking there was we could do them back to back. I am thinking of Raymond on this side also. It is quite a bit cheaper and its close to the ocean and some nice sight seeing. We have done Whispering Pines with this group twice before early on.
