Hello Court & Maria - you are gonna love that rig the more you use it. Virtually no problems with it. I have an 09 same model. Done some interior upgrades, as you might have read, to make it a little more accomadating for our family of six. Have actually slept eight at one point with the use of fold up cots. It gets lots of comments everywhere we go. Did you get a gas or diesel model? 80k sounds like it may be gas - if not then you got a great deal! Any questions or problems arise hit us up here and we'll try to walk you through.

Theo - I was thinking of doin the ladder also but there's really no great support structure to tie it into behind that rear cap. I have seen other rigs with the ladder on the side, a fold flat version, but don't know if they're capable of being added without knowing where there may be a solid mounting surface to tie in to. I use my 14' multi fold ladder to get up to do some cleaning - and I hate it. Not a big fan of being 12' off the ground without a safety of some kind - but you gotta do what you gotta do!

Good observation on the connectors. It's probably a good idea to check all connections occasionally with all the movement that goes on during transit and leveling due to frame shift - as slight as it may be.

Heading out to Oakham, Ma this weekend to pine acres.

Big trip in 3 weeks to upstate NY to thousand island campground and dragging the boat behind us for some lake fun as well.

Here's to the full swing of summer!

Happy trails everyone!

Another wiring problem to share;
my bathroom fantastic fan stopped working. Went through all the troubleshooting in the maintenance manuals and couldn't find what was wrong. Finally pulled the dress trim on the bathroom ceiling and found all the wiring had came loose. Whoever installed it didn't use standard electrical connectors. They just shoved the wires into the matching connector.

Have any of you added solar panels?
Any comments welcome on install.
Where did you pierce the roof to route wiring?
Where did you mount charge controller etc.

Was anyone in the Henderson, NY area last week? Saw an RW nose cap at a campground off route 3 and planned on stopping on the way back but didn't see it then. We were at the KOA on association island on Lake Ontario for a few days - until the gnats chased us away - ended up at lake George for the rest of the week. Good trip.

When it comes time, I was going to use portable panels. The problem with roof mounted panels is you have to park in the sun.

Hello all-Iv'e read all the post on the Road Warrior 3400. I'm looking for help locating one or at least post a wanted ad incase any of you are looking to sell yours. I looked at a 2009 RWS in Nevada but it sold while I was in the process of securing financing. I'm looking for a RWT. I'm in no real rush just thought I would put it out there. I'm aware of one for sale in Montana but I'm looking for something with under 12k Miles. For now I'll keep reading your posts and dreaming of the day I get one [emoticon]
