Can someone please tell me what the red switch on the panel inside the entrance door between the fan H/L and ceiling light switch? It looks like the one for the compartment lights that lights red when on. Doesn't seem to do anything....

Thanks,

Pat

Hey y'all,

I've been researching RVs for the past seven months to the point of being accused of being maniacal.

My wife and I picked up an 08 RWS3400 this past weekend. This forum really helped w/ our decision (a HUGE Thank You to y'all). This is our first RV and we couldn't be more excited!

People were calling and attempting various crazy trades scenarios while we were there putting this deal to rest. I believe we got a helluva deal at 80k, plus two day trips from NorCal to WA (one to inspect it, the second to bring her home).

5500 miles minus the 700 the dealer put on it, another 1500 to get it from SoCal to WA and we have a rig with roughly 3300 original owner miles!. We purchased from original owner who made quite a few upgrades to suspension, audio/visual, and performance tuning.

14 hr road trip from upper corner of WA to the Bay Area in CA in one day was a pleasant surprise.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to y'all who really helped us with our buying decision.

has anybody installed a roof access ladder yet to thier road warrior motorhome?
any additional comments welcome.
My old motorhome had a ladder on the back of the motorhome to get to the roof, and I kind of liked it.
I talked to a dealer, and he said if they didnt install a ladder, maybe it wasnt intended to have one....

I recently finally pulled the access panel that is right below the 110v breaker panel. I found several wire connectors loose, and one of the wires that supplies 110 to the microvave very overheated and melted from poor connection.
Might want to check yours sometime.
