The rear passenger side door couldn't be opened from the outside anymore. Removed the door panel to fix this. It works again...for now.

In finally installed the remaining 5 LED clearance lights on front of the camper, washed it and the truck and then installed the Fantastic Fan vent cover on the new roof. Going to order the red (back) clearance LED lights next. Dak 2018 GMC Denali "Extreme" and 23' EVO 2050T Travel Trailer Escapee member #224325-Since 1992 |

Well this wasn't exactly work on the Camper...but the end result will be better TC hauling. My truck is only 8222 miles old purchased in December 2012 and 99.9% of the miles have been with the Eagle Cap 950 on the Truck. I noticed ride quality deteriorated considerably by our last trip from Idaho to the Oregon Coast.... Ordered up 4 Rancho 9000XL Adjustable Shocks. Replaced the Motorcraft shocks yesterday and found both front shocks pretty dead and one back one had no rebound at all. Maybe should be a warranty issue but I don't even want another set of Motorcraft OEM Shocks. Since I had Rancho 9000's on my last F350 Super Duty...I went with the same again...Some folks insist Bilstein's are better!?!??! I'll see how the truck and camper ride this coming weekend when we head out for Amateur Radio Field Day. Removed all the sealant around the toilet riser I built a few years ago to redo it, got a drain wrench so I can try and pull the drain in the shower and re-seal it to the floor. Picked up a 90 degree coax elbow so my weather radio sits more flush in its spot. Took six squares of dry-dek and cut to fit on the shower floor pan:![]() I hope that provides a nice surface to shower and protects the floor. You can find it at Marine suppliers or at their web site if you are interested. Dri-Tek |

My experience was not in a camper but in a mobile shower room and the edges do tend to catch if not smoothed over after cutting but it looks good |

" I am guessing that you sanded the edges so they sre rouded...BTDT. I was hoping that since the pan slopes up on the edges The mat wouldn't catch. If it does, I know what to do know. Thanks. * This post was edited 06/18/13 10:35pm by brholt * |
