Betsy, hope you don't get rain today!
Hope we don't get rain today also..our new Inverter/Charger is supposed to get here today and Steve can't install it in the rain. We have been living off our batteries since Sat. nite when the inverter went out. The new one was supposed to be delivered Thurs, but "it got put on the wrong truck". FedEX always has an excuse!

After MANY attempts to contact J&G, I have received word from them via e-mail. They are having a meeting at the Dog and Bee restaurant in Beeville on February 24th from 9 a.m. til noon. They're having a class for newbies and they are charging. Experienced/licensed folks are welcome to attend, but they request you RSVP. P.M. me if you really want the info.

A class to get you through the licensing test which includes a class fee and the license fee. Licensed applicants can attend for nothing if they want to check out J&G. Not my cup of tea-just putting it out there.

Had a good friend that left GGS and went with J & G. He got a gate for 2 weeks and then was told that there may not be another available for a month or more. This was last year and he left them and went with another company that he is very happy with and is keeping him busy, So if one attends the session, ask about setting time between gates. I contacted them and had one email saying there were over 14 waiting, to try later. Sorry, not for me either.

Anyone read the SA paper yesterday about fracking? Basically it said there was and has never been a problem from the fracking with these side notes: Pipe not encased correctly in concrete, spilling of fluids above ground when fracking and seems like another but nothing with the actual fracking. Just what they have said all along.
They pointed out that the natural gas in water that has been reported was seeping in to the water source and not because of the fracking and so on. So there have been nothing but good news reported about fracking from research that has been done.
Hope all the mud and slime is good for TX as a drought stricken area! Guess we can muster a few days for the well being of the State, huh?

The wackos will keep at it-even as gas goes past $4 a gal. Don't forget the "frac quakes". We actually benefited from the rain. The area in front of the motorhome is paved and the rain cleaned it off!

We were coming back to the coast from the Brownwood area after my dear Grandmother's funeral. Noticed 4-5 RVs waiting at the GGS lot in Gonzales. Hope y'all get out quickly if you're there.
We are waiting for our permanent assignment with Sitewatch to start in Tilden, but we got a call from our supervisor that he had another temp assignment to help us out 'till the 3-4 year permanent job starts. So it looks like we'll be off vacation the middle or the end of next week.
Stay safe y'all!!

Stay safe y'all!! How did you get Sitewatch to respond? I have sent the employment app twice and never had the courtesy of a reply or even an acknowledgement.
