Good idea, good for you, sure was a smart thing to do.

Changed the oil and filter yesterday. I just use Walmart dino oil and change every 3k to 3.5k miles.

Well it is over 80 degrees here in Arizona and we need to get ready for our 2 month summer business trip to Syracuse. Today removed the microwave (which was good for storage of potato chips only) and that will be the new office. Purchased a rear cargo carrier with 5" lift which will hold dog crate and food. Am mentally preparing for the $2500 gas bill which will hit soon enough once we travel. Doing a 5 day dry run to a beach in California which will be the "summer vacation".

Here is something else I had done on Wednesday.

I graveled a spot for the van.

Here it is with the Class B parked on it. The tires are muddy due to the rain on Monday and Tuesday when it was parked on grass.

Question about the gravel above: When I have the B sit there during the winter for an extended period of time, should I park the tires on flat paving stones or is it alright to have the tires on the gravel? Thanks,

We leave ours parked on gravel all the time.

I parked it on my driveway for the first time. We picked up our new 2011 Roadtrek 190 Popular at the dealer two days ago. Spent a night in a campground for the first time. [emoticon]

Today we took Roada in for an oil change and a good going over for our 5000 mile trip out west. Started loading her up with "stuff" for our trip. 2 days and a wake up to go.

Pulled the rotten window regulator and frozen window motor out of my Sierra.

Retrieved our RT from our favourite local mechanic (CAA Certified) after having had its thorough annual check, lubed, fluids changed, wheels rotated, lights aligned, wipers replaced etc. Only the bottom line on the invoice was scary! On the boss guru's advice I then visited the selling dealer and handed over the front-most of the two coach batteries for a 48 hour test. Our mechanic measured less than 1200 S.G. after full charge on 5 of the 6 cells. Both coach batteries were installed as new when we purchased the RT one year ago. I would like to replace the 2 type 27 12 volt Interstate with 2 x 6 Volt, but the openings are not high enough to accommodate 6 volt batteries.
