Topic: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?

Posted By: yizit on 04/06/11 08:32pm

Today we replaced our city water valve. What a job. Getting a wrench to fit into that small area was the biggest challenge. Got the new one on and everything is working....so far.[emoticon]

Installed a new house battery with new cable connectors.
I cleaned the battery tray, gave it a fresh coat of rust inhibiting paint, looking good.

I hadn't been able to keep a full charge for over a year - lucky to get half a charge. Now, all four indicator lights are on. [emoticon]

Hello, what kind of battery did you get? A link would be nice. Thanks!

Today, I went to an indoor flea market in town and bought four much needed hub caps for only 10 bucks! The deal was so great, it did not warrant any bickering in price. I will post pictures soon. [emoticon] Amazing how it makes a difference in looks.

We picked up Roada from the spa. She looks really shinny and clean. Sanitized her tanks, ran the genny, a/c, reorganized, and restocked necessities. Discovered broken light above opera windows...grrrrr. Less then 3 weeks for the big trip out west. Yippie!!!

goreds2,

Must say your Explorer XtraVan sure is a nice looking Class B, and the Olds Hub Caps look great on it. Looks like the unit is well kept, good luck with it.

Thanks for the kind words (you too yizit)

I lucked out and got it via an Estate. It was stored indoors it's entire life. Yours is pretty nice also to say the least.

Here is something else I had done on Wednesday.

I graveled a spot for the van.

Here it is with the Class B parked on it. The tires are muddy due to the rain on Monday and Tuesday when it was parked on grass.
