Topic: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?

Measured the garage at our new house. The Roadtrek 190V will fit in if I take the cover off the roof fan. If I take the Roadtrek decals off the RV, the Roadtrek becomes another car with seating for four including driver. Sounds like a good plan.

Started cleaning and preparing to go camping. Been a tough summer. Moved to a better home for the wife who has health issues. Ran generator and air conditioner for as hour. Everything's works well. Will get back to the RV tomorrow or monday.

Had oil changed at Wal-Mart in Durham N.C. after driving 2600 miles with a Uhaul trailer full of my oldest boy's belongings(philosophy books mostly.Kids an egghead) as well as his new brides stuff so he can start working on his PHD at UNC Chapel Hill. I had just got my wife situated under some trees with our lawn chairs when I heard my van start. I turned and watched in horror as the guy doing the oil change drove into a bay where the door was not opened all the way. He missed ripping my AC off by what appeared to be an inch. Got my blood pumping to say the least. Tomorrow we're heading to Cape Haterus, AC intact.

Working on a screen/boot for the back of the van. Open the doors, attach some hooks to the drip rail and velcro along the sides and TaDa, the entire back is open to screening and lovely breeze. Working is the optimal word as our project is halted by thunderstorms. Makes fitting a bit difficult, as this is an adapt as you go project. Hope to finish and post pics soon.

Sprinter "B" service plus new front brake pads and rotors. Filled the tank and we're ready to roll!

I cursed the lords name in vain several times after learning my previous owner decided to seal my Xplorers rain gutter trims. Then I installed new weather stripping and screen on my exterior panels.

Checked all systems, including the recently repaired water tank, no leaks, everything worked. Fueled her up and waiting for Early September to go Somewhere, anywhere that may be cooler than North Texas.
