I heard back from Keystone today about my roof. I was told that the glue that they use to put on the rubber roof will let off fumes when it is hot and cause the bubbles. They have the pictures that the dealer took and said that no repairs were needed at this time. However, they have my unit info on file and if some thing happens, even after the warranty expires, they will fix it. As far as the awning, it will be in on monday and have it installed on tuesday.

On another note:
We will be moving across country in october, so the TT will be our house until we get set up in Kansas. We will start full timing on the first of september, temporarily, does anyone have any tips?

Where in KS you headed to?

Just a little info on the shower, my dealer's service manager told me that the shower pan runs up behind the surround about 4 to 6 inches, so water can not get to the walls ! He said not to caulk around the bottom edge because it is designed to drain & "breathe".Happy camping fellow premier owners !!!

I also have heard that you should not caulk the bottom of the tub surround to permit any condensation to drain that may be between the surround and the wall. My glass shower enclosure is what is leaking on mine. Water is seeping under the glass enclosure frame and off the side of the shower pan and onto the floor. That is where I want to recaulk.

We are heading back out to Ft Riley. We spent 3 years ( well my wife did, I was across in the sandbox for most of it) there from 06-09. We are excited about going back for some good fishing! I actually had a soldier from Derby.

For those who installed a toilet paper holder and a towel ring in the bathroom, did you just screw it into the wallboard or did you do something else. It seems rather thin but capable of holding the weight of the fixtures. I figured I would ask before making any holes.
I did install a TV in the bedroom but I was able to go into a stud to hold the weight. I cant find one near where I want to locate the bathroom fixtures.
thanks!

I did use the white plastic push in anchors that came with our bathroom kit. It holds very secure. I do not think I would trust just screwing the screws into the wall board without anchors.

I used generic double-sided tape for the toilet paper roll and 3M Command strips on the walls to hang towels of all sizes.

I've always heard that as well, sometimes if I take a long shower water will run around there and down the side of the tub to the floor right beside the bathroom door. It might do that because I have the TT leaned that way a little? I noticed Virtual Garage has little corner pieces on his tub, I still haven't found those anywhere, I haven't looked all that hard though.

Those corner shields don't really help in the Premier because we always get water on the floor if we're not extra careful.

I think it's because the Premier's shower curtain is particularly small. It was smaller (both height and width) than the one on our old trailer and it lacks a way to keep the curtain close to the wall. Our old trailer shower curtain had Velcro strips at each of the curtain that would attach the to shower wall and it did a really good job of keeping the water in. I'm thinking of gluing on some Velcro strips on each end of the Premier's curtain so that I can get the same performance.

Right now, because our aftermarket shower head sprays at a higher angle and most of the water hits the back wall, I find that if I leave the shower curtain open at the front a couple of inches so that more of the curtain is at the back, hardly any water gets out.

As a follow-up to my installation of the Winegard TV Signal Meter, I had a chance to try it at our annual site. Our site is a located far from a major city and there are no over-the-air TV signals available at all. I used to joke with my wife that you could tell who the newbies were because they were the ones who had their antennas up [emoticon].

No more! I used the signal meter to do a search and was able to see that there was a signal that seemed fairly steady from one direction. It was below the threshold that would normally be displayed on the TV so I boosted the gain to its maximum and was able to boost it enough to pull something it. To my surprise it was a Canadian station. The picture was ghosted and not very clear at all, but the sound came in very well. I was able to watch a show and understand everything that was going on as well as the evening news.

Granted, the signal faded in and out at times and disappeared during the day, but it showed me how the signal meter can let me know what is around when previously I saw nothing.

I placed a piece of scrap wood (1x6) behind the TP holder inside the cabinet and screwed through the wood in to the backer board.

Thanks for the ideas!
