Topic: Keystone Bullet Premier

Posted By: gregrc75 on 08/08/11 05:20am

Yesterday it was raining here in MA for most of the day. When I went out to do some stuff on the inside of the trailer, I noticed some water leaking from the bottom of the window frame on both entry doors. I thought I remembered seeing something here on the forum about that so I tried doing a search but I couldn't find the topic.

I would bring it back to the dealer but there are two issues with that. (1) the dealer is 4 hours away. (2) I have a week long trip planned starting this weekend and I don't want it tied up at the dealer.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I assume it is probably some insufficient caulking. I will probably see if I can remove the trim on the windows and look into it.

For those who installed a toilet paper holder and a towel ring in the bathroom, did you just screw it into the wallboard or did you do something else. It seems rather thin but capable of holding the weight of the fixtures. I figured I would ask before making any holes.
I did install a TV in the bedroom but I was able to go into a stud to hold the weight. I cant find one near where I want to locate the bathroom fixtures.
thanks!

We have over the door hanger for towels etc. On the side of the cabinet I've a 3m hook to hold hand towel. On the self below the bathroom counter we just place the tp there along side some towels. I'm still to shy to put holes in the wall.

Well, I did it. I put holes in the bathroom walls and I am pleased! I installed a toilet paper holder, a towel ring, and some bath towel hooks. I got the oiled bronze to match the hardware elsewhere in the camper. I noticed some Premier's had the hooks in the bathroom and mine did not. I found these at Target and thought they matched pretty good!

Need a little help finding a post. I've used the search page through here but can't find it.
That cheap aluminum brace on the left side of my 31 finally broke this past weekend. The one that hold the wheel well siding. Someone, who I thought was on this thread, posted a really cool fix for it. I'd like to find it if anyone knows what I'm talking about and hopefully knows where the post is.
Thanks guys!

I have it saved at work, I'm pretty sure it is a link in this thread some where I can't really think of a good keyword to use for a search. I'd say it is at least page 75 or higher.

Just found it, sabrecanuck on page 79 has pics of his fix...if that is what you were talking about. I would put a link but I'm on my phone and it's a pain!

Yup - that was me.....

I did a very close inspection of the 'fix' on the weekend and all is well.... Fairing is not cracking and no parts are bending/moving. I used to watch that fairing in the mirror all the time, now I just drive... The support, etc. was probably overkill but at least it doesn't flap in the wind!

Anyone need more pics/info let me know.
