I was on my roof recently(Maxx-Air vents) and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I'm going to check it out and again this time paying closer attention to the edges.

Finally, it arrived today, after months of research we have our new trailer. I want to thank all of you for posting and sharing so much of your knowledge and most of all your experiences. We are very happy with our purchase, we took our trailer for a spin this weekend and it was fantastic. We had a little issue with the hitch, it did not arrive on time, but the guys at Genuine RV, saved the day. I used an equalizer for the weekend, took the trailer back to Genuine RV, once the hitch arrived they brought it home to Dallas, about a 4 hour drive. Tony the owner drove it himself. Now a days you don't see that customer service. Anyways, thanks again. https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=f8ce303a5........CD9&id=F8CE303A5CC80CD9%211858&sc=photos 31BHPR 2011 Toyota Sequoia Platinum Propride 3P Tekonsha P3 Wife, 3 kids, 3 Standard Poodles ![]() |

RE: Roof bubbles--I haven't noticed anything around the edges of the roof at all, but I'm overdue for an inspection up top. I'm going to have to do that soon. I'm down in Seaside now and took advantage of Oregon's no-sales-tax buy buying a couple of items for the RV. One of them I've had my eyes on is the Winegard Sensar Pro TV Signal Meter: It's really easy to install and takes place of the standard antenna power supply located above the TV. This is what it looks like when it's "mostly" installed: I say "mostly" because the hole in the wall for the old power supply is smaller than what is needed for the new one, so I'll need to wait until I get home and have proper tools to enlarge the opening. It works the way it is now however, and it really works well. Here in Seaside, Oregon, I was only able to get 1 major network on my own looking at where some other antennas were pointed on other RVs--not all were the same! The TV signal meter has different modes like scan and seek that allow you to find the strongest signals. It even gives off beeps to let you know how strong the signal is while you turn the antenna. That helps a lot because then I don't have to worry about not seeing the readings while I'm making adjustments. There's also a gain control so when I found the strongest signal, I was able to see that there were other weak channels available that I didn't know about and that the TV could not pull in. Once I boosted the gain, the TV was able to see the channels and I was able to watch three major networks plus PBS (1 HD, 2 analog) instead of just the 1 HD and PBS. If you are in an area with a really strong signal, you can lower the gain to improve reception, too. I also confirmed that the rear TV can get all the antenna/cable channels that the front TV can get. I don't know why I ever thought that it couldn't. The second item I purchased was the Sewer Solution. I tried it out and it worked as advertised and seems to make the whole process of dumping the tanks very clean. I'll post up pictures of it later. 2007 GMC Yukon XL Denali ~ 2010 Keystone Premier 31BHPR ~ Sold: 2009 Tango 289BH ProPride 3P Hitch ~ RV Modifications ~ Gear & Accessories ~ Road Trip 2010 ![]() |

Picked up the new B. Premier on tuesday and drove right to the campground with it and camped 2 nights. My truck towed it nicely and I got 9.4 MPG in the hills of NH and VT before returning to MA. I just got home this morning before work! So far so good, only 2 issues so far that I have noticed. When we first hooked up to water I noticed a small puddle forming on the floor in the bedroom. I opened the panel above the water pump and simply tightened the fitting where the hose attaches. That stopped the leak. The second issue I had was water seeping underneath the shower stall surround. I remember reading that other have had the same issue and I will recaulk the area to make it water tight. Other than those 2 isssues, I have not noticed anything else as of yet. I am looking forward to my week long trip on August 15th! So far I have added the pull out faucet in the kitchen that comes with the Comfort Package (my trailer did not have the package). I had the dealer do it before I picked it up. At the campgorund I did a couple of "mods." I added a 12V 19" LCD in the bedroom and I added some hooks in the bathroom that match the wood and hardware in the rest of the TT. Cant wait to leave work to go tinker with it! I heard back from Keystone today about my roof. I was told that the glue that they use to put on the rubber roof will let off fumes when it is hot and cause the bubbles. They have the pictures that the dealer took and said that no repairs were needed at this time. However, they have my unit info on file and if some thing happens, even after the warranty expires, they will fix it. As far as the awning, it will be in on monday and have it installed on tuesday. On another note: We will be moving across country in october, so the TT will be our house until we get set up in Kansas. We will start full timing on the first of september, temporarily, does anyone have any tips? 2011 Bullet Premier 31BHPR 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD No Mission Too Difficult No Sacrifice Too Great DUTY FIRST! 31BHPR Mods |

NOOOOO they had to use these star hex type things! Thank goodness we had something to use with us when we opened the area to just look to see what was down there. Wonder what others have there? Our shower stall leaks in one area about a tablespoon of water but never anymore than that and it's never reached the floor. I understand where the doors and floor meet it is ok to caulk but the other areas are not caulked for air circulation. Let us know how that goes and what you use. Sounds like you're off to a great start! |

In my way of thinking if a bubble forms then a seal is broken. Unless the material splits and forms a bubble within itself. I understand that the edge may not be compromised or maybe not compromised this year. We checked ours this past weekend and didn't see anything of concern yet. If what they say is typical then I'm equally glad you alerted us to this. I won't do an immediate panic if I see something. Thanks for sharing the information with us. Good luck with your move. You at least have a great place to live in for awhile until you get settled. Just another great adventure for you and yours! |

Just a little info on the shower, my dealer's service manager told me that the shower pan runs up behind the surround about 4 to 6 inches, so water can not get to the walls ! He said not to caulk around the bottom edge because it is designed to drain & "breathe".Happy camping fellow premier owners !!!

I've always heard that as well, sometimes if I take a long shower water will run around there and down the side of the tub to the floor right beside the bathroom door. It might do that because I have the TT leaned that way a little? I noticed Virtual Garage has little corner pieces on his tub, I still haven't found those anywhere, I haven't looked all that hard though. 2009 Chevy Z71 CrewCab 2010 Bullet Premier 31BHPR |
