I love seeing everyone's pics. I think they inspire us all!

Habs97, where did you get that bunk ladder from? It looks nice and compact.

I built the ladder. First time I built one. Used white pine 1x4's. It was abit tricky with the angle but worked out just like I wanted it. I could not find the hooks I wanted so I had to modify my plan and use these L brackets and it worked out great.

Hi anyone else out there having a problem with lowering their pickup tail gate and it hitting the power tongue jack and therefore can't lower it all the way. In order for me to put my two German Shepherds in their kennel's in the back of the pickup I have to be unhitched. If my hitch shank even extended out another inch or so I am sure that would do it, it is so close to clearing the tongue jack. Can I drill another hole about 1" away and use that or is that too dangerous and compromising the safety of my equalizer hitch setup.A quick search on the Internet shows you can get 18" long shanks as aopposed to my 12" one I have now. But that seems excessive I don't need 6" extra and worried that will potentially be proned to sway more ? Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you. I could take a pic too if that would help explain my situation.

I definitely wouldn't recommend drilling a new hole in your shank. Either deal with unhitching to get the dogs in/out, or spring for the 18" shank (which is what I did). Good luck.

No, I haven't encountered any sway issues whatsoever.

So my outdoor kitchen strut came loose again. The dealer "fixed" it under warranty the first time, I'm going to FIX it this time. I always thought it was attached with screws but it was riveted into a thin piece of metal (maybe that was the dealer's fix).
I went to the local hardware store and got a piece of aluminum angle about 12" long. i'm going to screw and nut the strut bracket to the angle and use screws and nuts to attach the angle to the backside of the door frame, I figure that will hold it for good. I'll post pics of the finished repair this weekend if anyone wants to see what I did...if anyone else has had the problem...[image]

Hey Bullet brothers,

Just got back from a great trip at Frontier Town in Maryland. Def a place for kids. Overall a very good spot. We came and left before the July 4th crowd rolled in. Assateague State Park is gorgeous and the wild horses are not hard to find.

Few very minor issues with my camper.

The cabinet door above the sink came right off. The screws were pretty stripped. Lets see what else. My wife forget to shut off the AC before using the hair straightener several times. [emoticon]

I probably could have done a better job of leveling my trailer because unlike my first outing, we had a good amount of bounce in the trailer. Everything checked out on the level though?[emoticon]

The oven shut off several times on my wife without reason. She had to relight the pilot and she was pretty frustrated. Lastly the check light came on with the fridge. I think that was a result of the circuit being blown.

I also which completely blew my mind, ran out of gas in one of the LP tanks. I had the switch just to one side in an effort to monitor things. For being out but once for 2 days, I guess I have to pay more attention to the fridge being on AUTO. ??

Lastly, what is everyones experience with the quality of signal with the TV when you have a cable hookup? I did the auto scan and after the channels were grainy at best. We watch very little TV but it is nice at the end of the night to catch up on the outside world.

Have a good weekend everyone.
