So I guess it's really only 25 amps if I dare to use it all at the same time, but with summer coming and air conditioner use I wanted to try to understand this more and not blow breakers left and right! One thing that happened to me this weekend was when I had the A/C on, the outdoor fridge set to 7, the indoor fridge set a little above half way, the hot water heater on electric, a fan plugged in, and outdoor party lights plugged in, my 30 Amps internal C/B tripped. For us, when the AC is blowing full blast, having the electric hot water on and running the microwave will blow the breaker. We usually just turn off the AC for the short time that we need to use the microwave. 2007 GMC Yukon XL Denali ~ 2010 Keystone Premier 31BHPR ~ Sold: 2009 Tango 289BH ProPride 3P Hitch ~ RV Modifications ~ Gear & Accessories ~ Road Trip 2010 ![]() |

FensterRV wrote: ![]() 2) That stinks how quickly the gray tanks filled up. Teen age daughter and wife = many a full gray tank for me! 3) Can someone explain to me the proper method of turning on the water pump, and getting things ready to have hot water. We're a family of 7 so we really do need the full hookups whenever we go out. I've found that we can survive about 24hrs before emptying the grey tank if we are careful. Usually, we arrive on a Friday night and I don't need to setup the sewer connection and empty the grey until the next afternoon. Because we have a full hookup, I keep the grey open for the rest of the weekend. We're much better with the black tank and we can last an entire 3-day weekend with no problems. To get the hot water going really fast, we turn on the electric and gas switches on at the same time. |

Let me expand on that question. Do you use the sewer rinse valve for the tanks and for how long? Do you have to be careful with water pressure too like you do on the fresh tanks?

Do you have to be careful with water pressure too like you do on the fresh tanks? I used the tank flush this past weekend and it worked very well. No pressure issues to worry about since the flush hose is open in the tank and will never build up any excess pressure. I have a clear elbow on my sewer hose and I could see chunks being flushed out that that were left behind from when I dumped. With that said the flush does not have the volume to flush out the sewer hose like dumping the grey tank does. My procedure is dump black then use the fresh water hose till I see it running clear. Close the black valve and dump the grey. |

After this four day weekend I noticed that there was toilet paper down in my toilet still. It there an elbow right there that it might be stuck in? if so, how do I get it to flow. I tried useing the hose at the dump station but it wouldnt bugde. Will it desolve over time and I should just let it be? Or is there a change one of the kids put something down there at they shouldn't have?

Thanks G. Not knowing I probably would have dumped the black first(obviously), then the grey, and then lastly the fresh water tank flush. I bought the Rhino with the clear elbow so I can monitor things. Anyone know off hand if the lug nuts are a 7/8 or 13/16 socket? I want to re-torque them before leaving. |

Here is the answer to my own question. The lug nut socket is 13/16.
