Regarding the black tank rinse-we use a clear adapter between the outlet and the sewer hose and I just watch the condition/clarity of the waste water as it exits. I flush mine for a couple minutes. I simply let it run wile I work on puttion the jacks up, etc if we're at a full hook up site. I'll let it run for a couple minutes at a dump station if there is a fresh water supply, and no line of folks waiting.

I usually let the black tank rinse run for about 5 min to get it good and clean. I can basically tell that it's clean by looking at what's coming out of the sewer pipe (it should be just a steady trickle of clear water) and/or when the black tank sensor shows empty. If th black tank sensor doesn't show empty that tells me there's probably some crud stuck inside and a run the spray for longer or I dump some ice cubes in the black tank on my way home. The ice cube trick worked great on my Tango, but I've never had to do it on the Premier. We usually stay with full hookups so there's no rush using the black tank flush. I wouldn't use it if I were at a dump station. I'd just use the ice cubes technique on the way over to the dump station. 2007 GMC Yukon XL Denali ~ 2010 Keystone Premier 31BHPR ~ Sold: 2009 Tango 289BH ProPride 3P Hitch ~ RV Modifications ~ Gear & Accessories ~ Road Trip 2010 ![]() |

To dewinterize I just ran fresh water through all the sinks until it ran clear. The RV antifreeze is non-toxic, but if you really want to make sure that you don't drink any of that stuff, you could open the low point drains to clear it out. You definitely wouldn't need to use up as much water either.

I was out again this weekend (Canadian Victoria Day long weekend) and was able to fix a couple of items. 1. I applied some Liquid Nails multipurpose adehsive behind the wall panel to the left of the rear window of the bunkhouse that bowed out. It held well and hopefully will stay that way. The adhesive was indoor/outdoor, cold temp capable, and flexible when dry so it should withstand all conditions back there. 2. I finally solved the problem with my electric tongue jack. The dealer had fixed it before and said it was "a faulty ground." After a couple wet months through the winter the LED lights still had power, but the motor did not run. I tried creating a better ground by sanding away the paint on the mounting bolts and installing some toothed lock washers but that didn't work. After getting some more ideas from the forum I checked the fuse holder. The fuse was fine but the was some corrosion around the contacts. I took the fuse out, cleaned the contacts and everything worked 100% after I put it back in. So simple! Doh ![]() |

It got so coroded that I had to replace the whole fuse unit (after three trips). The fuse on my friends Rockwood is doing the same thing. Just a heads up to really check the fuse before working on the unit (and replacing the switch like I did ![]() 2014 Heartland 305RW Road Warrior 2012 Ford F250 Lariat |

I had my dealer swap out the scissor type dinette in our 31bhpr. The original table was always tilted at a slanted angle so I had them swap it out for a pedestal mount under warranty. Here is a pic for those who were interested.![]() * This post was edited 05/25/11 05:29pm by garysol * |

I see your table leg supports go front to back. Ours go side to side. Wonder how they attach and if they can be moved around.

Hopefully it will be stable the way they mounted it. Truthfully I hadn't even noticed that. The way they have it will make getting in and out easier though. |

Our legs come just like garysol's from the factory. The tabletop is friction mounted--you simply pull it up off the poles. The poles pull up out of the base the same way. The table is pretty stable but will wobble a bit if you lean your body weight on one side of it. |
