Our electric jack had a loose ground that stopped it from working (or worked only intermittently). After that was fixed, no other problems.

We've given up looking for properly fitting sheets for RV mattresses. I know there are different kinds of straps and clips that you can buy to make sheets fit tighter if it bothers you. Our kids haven't complained so we haven't pursued it.

I forgot to mention one little update I had to do on the Premier over the winter. I don't know if I caused the problem with outside kitchen door because I didn't latch it properly, or if it has to do with the dampness up here in the Pacific Northwest, but I noticed that after sitting through December and January that the center locking latch no longer worked because the door was slightly bowed. The latch itself was no longer long enough to catch on the frame. The ones on the sides are fine. I changed the center one to a longer latch and now it locks properly again. (Even though I changed the lock cylinder so it's no longer the 751, I'm still looking for a more secure lock for that door.)

I bought some Combi-cam locks to put on the front storage doors, but am debating using them because it's harder to use them at night in the dark.

We just got back from our first trip out with the 31BHPR! Im going to start with the cons, since there are more to list.

CONS:
In the outdoor kitchen area:
* The TV has a gap around it which I was affraid would let bugs in, so I shoved some paper towels around it, and it seamed to work. Looking for more ideas for that.
* Maybe it was the way I was jacked up, but the overhead kitchen door was not square to the frame, so I had to shove it shut at night.
* The A/C unit was a bit loud when the heater was on for anyone trying to sleep in the super slide.

PROS:
* EVERYTHING ELSE!!
This camper is awsome! Lots of room for the kids to PLAY INSIDE the camper. Set up and tear down were both super easy. We had several other families come over and ask to check it out.

We are really looking forward to warmer weather so we can get out more often.

I had water get in my in-line fuse holder and corrode the contacts to where the jack wouldn't work. My dealer tried to get me just the wire but instead I got a brand new jack!

I noticed that a lot of the electrical connections in the front of the trailer are very exposed. I used a tube of dielectric grease to protect them from corrosion. I use this stuff for my snowplow and it works great. Its is available at an auto parts store. Just smear the stuff on any electrical connection.

Can anyone confirm the length of the cam locks required to replace the locks on the outside kitchen and the front storage. Tks!

Grill question for owners of new 2011 models....

We just had our first weekend of camping with our new camper. All went well until I went to grill. The brochure states a RVQ option. Ours came with a Flame King model with a 4ft hookup gas line.
4ft is 1ft too short and the Flame King is not near the quality of the RVQ which I had with my last camper.
Did anyone get a RVQ with theirs?
Thanks

We got a flame king as well and I think they mounted the bracket on the trailer too high so I adjusted the bracket and it now sits about 6" lower, I think its still a tad too high but it works. I actually haven't tried attaching the hose yet, we are going out for our shakedown trip this weekend so I guess I will find out if I have the same issue as you.

Ours also came with the flame king. Luckily during our walk through we had them set it up and saw that the line was to short to make the connection so we ordered a longer one. However, that was last fall and we didn't use the grill the one time we took it out. The line was ordered and was supposed to be put inside the camper over winter storage. I guess I need to add this to my list of questions for them. I'd hate to get it out of storage next month and find the grill isn't usable.

Interesting in the grill manual parts page it shows the hose assembly as sold separately! When Keystone changed units did they just distribute what hose assembly's they had on hand. The length is wrong for my model along with the others.

Thanks for bringing this up!

Yea a giant thank you here too. I have a 2011 and pick it up in May. If four feet 1 is too short what size should I be telling my dealer to order?

FensterRV,
In my case (w 29RLPR) I needed a 5ft which my dealer is trading out for me. I'd just make sure to check it out during your walk though ( like RainbowsEnd was wise enough todo).
