garysol wrote: ![]() So your saying that you did not have sewer hook up at the CG? Did you hook the flush hose up without draining your black tank first? You mentioned that no water came out of the black tank with the hose on. Did you have the black tank valve open? Sorry for the questions just want to make sure I am understanding.... Correct. We had no sewer. So, prior to leaving the site, I filled the black tank up as much as I could (verify). Then I went to dump. Considering this was my first time, I dumped like normal, grey then black. I don't recall whether I left the black tank valve open or not, or even tried both to be honest. However, the hose that I was using to fill the tank had no connector - just the rubber portion of the hose. So, I placed it up against the inlet valve to see if water could at least get to the tank. Didn't see anything come out of the tank so it got me to wondering. I might try to hook up the flush tonight to a extra hose to see if I can get water in the tank. I'll be taking it to my permanent site over the next couple of weeks, so it'll be ok for a bit. |

Just an FYI. Best to have someone inside to make sure black tank doesn't get to full when you add water to it as it can overflow. Not sure how that works or if people have faulty tank connections but I've read that often on these forums with nasty leaks to the floors. If you're tanks are REALLY full, such as gray water, and you drive, water can even slosh up into shower floor or bathroom floor. Not sure I understand this, you said you dumped like normal, grey then black ... isn't it black first and then let the grey help to rinse out the hose? Carolina_Camper wrote: ![]() The black flush has me a bit perplexed. The CG that we were at didn't have a proper connection, so I attempted to place the hose up to the flush out connection. That didn't work too well and absolutely NO water came out of the black tank. When we got home, we found water inside the bathroom floor. Have to get that checked. Yeah, I've seen the 3 settings and the fan can be set to Auto, High or Low, but leaving it on either of the two last settings has it run all of the time. I'd have thought that running it in Auto would do what you suggested. In ours it didn't - it ran all of the time. Another thing I'll have them check. Thanks. FYI - We have the 27RLPR with the black tank flush... The factory forgot to install the rubber washer on the hose that connects to the back of the outside inlet (hope that makes sense).. I took the panel off of from under the sink and had DW apply water... First thing I saw was water splurting out all over the place under there. Sounds awful familiar to what you are saying.. Our AC fan works exactly as discussed... Fan cuts in, 15 seconds later compressor kicks in, reverse when compressor is going off. 2011 GMC 2500 D-Max Denali 2015 Palomino Columbus 325RL Our kids have 4 legs. "> |

Another thing to consider is whether your black and gray labels are reversed, as many of us Premier owners are. If you had the gray valve open, obviously nothing will come out when flushing the black tank.

For those that are interested, the TV is held in place by two small screws that are just above the cables. (If you are facing the back of the TV, look under the back of the wood mount and you'll see both screws holding the TV to the mount.) Rick |

One more trip for the year and our first season in our Bullet Premier will be complete. I have a few small items for the dealer to fix but only small cosmetic issues. Here is a pic of the rig leaving the campground today......![]() |
