I like this, Is this to keep air out, bugs out, or both? It does both. We leave the door open all night and nothing gets in (bugs), but it also eliminates the draft in the kids room. 2011 Bullet Premier 31BHPR 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD No Mission Too Difficult No Sacrifice Too Great DUTY FIRST! 31BHPR Mods |

The Premier 31BHPR is on my short list for a TT. I will be using it for escaping the cold and maybe a lakeside location up north in the summer. I really like the idea of a toy hauler with the storage space but do not like the industrial/basic feel of the living area. What I like about the Premier is the outside kitchen and the slide out for the bunks. I believe this would allow me to do the following: I would like to remove the lower bunk and replace it with a combination washer/dryer and a freezer. I would also consider a portable air conditioning unit (8000 btu?) and kegerator (with taps to the outside kitchen) in the bunk area. I realize that I would need addition power distribution and would not be in a position to dry camp, but think that OK with me. So the real question.....Am I nuts??? |

If you can get hookups needed I think it could work. I don't know about weight limits to floor and additional hauling weight for your specific TV. This would be my first look at a kegerator installed! Post pictures when you do and invite us all over! I have heard people closing this area off for an office. Take out the bunk area and put in cabinets and desk. Seems to work for their work! Keep us posted.

What I see as an issue would be the weight of the washer/dryer on the slide. They recomend not setting on the slide with it in, so not sure how the extra weight of the w/d would work. Not sure why you want an extra AC. We have the larger AC unit and it seems to do well, IF it gets to start before we reach 100+. |

28RLPR - As promised, photos of the extra curtain we had installed. It's worked great for us. Has given more privacy in the hallway area, great for changing room. The curtain doesn't get in the way of the corner cabinet or the rear door. Even if the door is open to let air flow through the TT, the curtain hasn't been a problem. I do have handy a tie for the curtain to keep it secure but haven't ever needed it. Extra Curtain Track |

And so our first season with our 31bhpr winds down. This weekend the temps will struggle to break out of the 40's. Not sure what happened to fall.....lol. We only have 3 more weekends at our seasonal site then we have one more trip planned for the weekend after that and then it will be time to fully winterize. I am soooooo not looking forward to having to put our baby away for 5 or 6 months ![]() 2020 GMC Canyon 2022 NoBo 19.2 |

Where did you get the track and curtain? How much did the materials cost? It looks like a great idea. gregrc75 wrote:

We will winterize this weekend. We can't get out again until the end of Oct. If we can make it back out we will go for it and just rewinterize again. In the meantime we will feel better knowing it's protected from any low temps. How's that seasonal site working for you this season? |

Ill just blow out the lines and drain the tanks as needed till then. I am thinking we may make a couple trips south this winter for a little break from our Cleveland winter ![]() Seasonal has worked out well for us this season and we have already signed up to be there again next year. The wife and kids enjoy the seasonal thing more than I do. I miss being on the road and seeing new places and meeting new people. Next year we will do more road trips and simply use our seasonal site as home base...... |
