Spring over axle conversion and bigger wheels and tires last night. No more scraping out of driveways and 65 mph trailer tires (had a blowout a month ago).

The things that come to those that wait will be the junky stuff left by those that got there 1st.

So what tires are you using? 235/75R15 Firestone Destination A/Ts that came mounted on the wheels from Craigslist. Higher load rating tan what was on it before anyway...

So, after thinking about how to carry the bikes safely but not loose all the room in the bed of the truck, I finally came up with a solution. It is made from wood and I use the rubber bungee/tie downs to hold the bikes in place. I've received complements at the campgrounds including where they could get one. If I had skills in welding, I'd consider building one out of metal vs wood, but I had to go with what I know.

With bikes and supplies in the truck bed (gotta watch the weight now)

Nice work...I sort of copied some of your idea and fashioned an above-propane tank bike rack using 2x4's as well. I posted the pics under the hybrid travel trailer section (meant to put in this section under mods). Thanks for the idea!

Haynaorno wrote: added a cabinet style door to the storage under the table seating. Family wanted a place to put dirty laundry until we get home. Can add from the door and remove it all from the hinge when we get home. Funny you mention that.. The wife and I were just talking about a few of new RV's we had seen at the RV show that had laundry hatches into the under-compartments, which can be set up and ready with a laundry basket.
