i missed some of the things in my list of camper related tasks after our 2014 trip...

If they are possibly useful to TC/RV owners I'll post them in the TC Forum.

2014 Salt damaged Fantastic Fan repair Can be seen here

The salt damage was extensive in all electrical parts of the camper... most of it coming from the beaches along the Texas Coast

Getting ready for another trip...

We had some decent weather yesterday.... it was only about 85°F... I used the shade of the carport and rebuilt the Airfoil... a very large bird managed to take out about 12" of it...

I'm having the dully brakes replaced tomorrow... they appear to have about 10,000 miles left on them... the front brakes are OK. They are 12 years old with about 70,000 miles on them. I recently had the alignment checked... they showed me the brakes... but didn't want the job... they were booked solid doing alignments. Our alignment was good... even after Mississippi.

We apparently don't do much braking ... and when we do we wouldn't be going over 60 mph anyway. Janet only drives about 10% of our travel miles if that much.

Most of the garages I contacted don't want to do dullys for some reason... and I would rather hire them done than to do them myself.

We have been dreaming.... and trying to stay warm.... looking at our past trips on the computer.... looking at this thread....

The camper is in good shape... the best for a couple of years... and we are too.

Phoenix... southern AZ holds promise... it is always nice there in March.

We took the camper out to the lake... a half mile from the house... not a sign of spring green any where....

Then we headed for AmerGas in Knoxville to pick up our recertified 30# propane tanks... filled and ready.

It was a wonderful feeling to be behind the wheel... locked , loaded and ready

... every great journy starts with baby steps.

Notice the AirFoil is intact... you'll get the hole story later in the report.

Heading south... it seems we travel toward Lake Charles, LA a lot. Headind west as far south as we can in the winter and early spring takes us through that area.

I won't be showing much of the highways at this point... we and you have seen too much of I-75/I-24/I-59/ and I-10

This picture is to let you see how bleak it is.

We'd usually investigate... but a BAD winter storm is puching us south (it froze my figs to the ground at home)

This sign is for some of you investigator types to tell where were are.
