Hi Chet. By all means, keep posting. If you read all my post, I stated just that, 3rd paragraph in the first two sentences.
You asked for further help in posting in the way I described. Sure, when you post the link, just cut and paste them from the link (which you are already doing to import the picture link from your photo provider) and begin a line of these links on a seperate window or document, Write your wonderful and much appreciated under each photo. Hit return betwenn each photo and presto you have a continuous group of photos in one post.
Your point is well taken about posting the photos in a single fashion, so as to generate comments individually. Which I enjoy reading also, from other posters. On other threads this is possible in the way I have described, as well.
As for PM, never has been my style. I wish I was able to delete mine in a matter of seconds too, but with the platforms I have, I am not able to isolate them by subject or name. Then it would be a breeze!
Thanks.

We are leaving Vicksburg... heading north on US-61... and over to MS-1.... we followed it to Wintervill Mounds, State Historical Park. Ie was very nice... the mounds were left thousands of years ago by the Native indian Mound Builders... There are mounds all along the rivers of the Mississippi... some major ones east of St Lewis. We had them in WV where Janet and I grew up.
We continues north on MS-1 to Clarksdale... and the delta Blues Museum.... Wow, we knew half od the names... like Muddy waters...BB King...and manymore that most of us have heard of.
The real reason that we were going through Clarksdale, MS was Morgan Freman... he has a Night Club/Resturant/hotel there. When we pulled into a space in our truck camper a well dressed man walked over and welcomed us... asked where we were from... where we were going. He gave us his business card. I politelt thanked him... shook his hand and watched he walk away... he turned and came back and said... "He'll be here tonight"
Being a dummy I said who... he answered... "Why Morgan of course" I finally looked at the business card... he wasn't selling siding... He was rge Mayor of Clarksdale.
We went in to eat... and the mayer came it with a group af nicely dressed folks and sat at a table near the stage. Our waitress told us... he was also Morgan Freemans partner.
We stayed in toen over night... you can guess where.

The next morning we headed for Oxford, MS... home of William Faulkner and some pretty good SEC football. We had been to the faulkner stuff... and it wasn't football season.
We were bypassing it... by now we had phoned ahead and made appointments for Janet with the ophthalmologist (eye surgon) and the Orthopedic Surgeon that had operated on her previously.
We'd drive until we were worn out and try to take a break where there was something to see. We made it to , New Albany,MS on MS-30 and on to Corinth, MS...Where we visited the Shiloh National Military Park...Corienth Battlefield. (It is worth a stop.)
We visited Picwick Lake (and stayed at a boat launch over night)

A little ways north in Tennessee we visited Savannah... Steamboat town.
There was the "Tennessee River Museum" in Savannah, a lot of out of state vehicles lining the streets while their occupants were inside the very nice museum.
we cut accross the state to Murfreesboro... Stones River Battlefield.
We also visited the wife of my mentor... Cliff Hall, I recieved my first US Patent with him in 1987...
Cliff died Y2K... at the stroke of midnight on New Years 2000. I miss him every time I have to solve a new problem.... his approach was always weird to other people.... but I think he was often putting them on.
We stayed only a few hours and headed east.... worn out... in McMinnville, TN ...
We left the next morning.... Sparta.... Crossville and home.
Next: in a few days I'll explain the rush home
and we'll give the trip report a chance to settle back down to a TRUCK REPORT
Thank all of you for coming along with us
Chet and Janet

Sleepy, Thanks for posting the pics along with the narrative. I enjoyed this trip as much as the last one. You do a tremendous job of enlightening and entertaing with your trips. it makes me yearn for the time when I can load the t/c and take off just to meander around like you have. Thank you again for the very nice trip reports.

Even though it has been, what about a year? I still enjoyed it. I know you guys went through some rough times after getting home. Can't wait to see the pics and hear the story of the latest trip west.

New Day.... New way
But, still my old tried and true way...
I reall want you to have the best experience possible.... si that you are informed if you get to an area that we have passed through.
Being retired we have a lot of time to travel the highways and especially the by-ways
We visit many places because I read or remember having read in the past some comment from a member of the truck camper forum
The more information that Janeet and I have the more likely we are to visit, and participate in the good things in an area... and we consider negative comments.... especially when they come from several directions.
2014 was the year from H8LL for us.... Janet had 4 surgeries and I was diagnosed with cancer and introduced to a hospice group... 10 months of shear terror
I took on a lot of projects.... mostly taking 1 on 1 intensive care of Janet.
She now has bionic eyes.... she has Multi-focal Lenses replacing cataracks in each eye... the are ">n-us:IE-Address&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sour........7&rlz=1I7DKUS_en&gws_rd=ssl]Fresnel Lens They are very good.... she will never have to weare corrective lens again (they wer about $2500 each on top of medicare.... but the pay back is about 4 or 5 years in no new glasses... except fashion sunglasses of course) Remember, she went from sight to very poor sight while we were on this trip.... she could read with enough bright light but couldn't see clearly very far
She had to have two defferent surgeries on the same shoulder She had the initial injury on the way to the coast from home by just extending her arm, lifting and pulling a 4' x 4' airline blanket in the cab of the truck
She also fractured a bone on her left foot and was in a boot for 6 weeks.
Life is funny... we can afford extensive travel if we work until 65 years of age or so.... but we start(ed) falling aoart at about the same time.
After 10 months of terror.... horrible tests.... Dr induced merca infection and weekly rants by the medical staff for surgery (finally ending in February 2015) I didn't have prostrate cancer. But then I never had. There was a misdiagnosis.... intentional or not... mixed up lab tests? mixed up records?
I went in with a list of questions.... and when I got through they admitted that I never had cancer but if I'd go ahead and have my enlarged prodtrate removed that I never would have prostrate cancer... Duh!
Surgeons make $$$ when cutting and they assured me that after surgery I'd of course be cancer free easy for them to promise... I never had it. Worse with the proceedure they wanted to do I would have a better than 50% chance of incontance... I don't want a diaper.
Now.... to the TR, and our truck and camper
they took a beating... bad roads, salt in the air on electronics, cusheons in dinnette 12 years old, ad misc other ills that needed repair
they would come to be called by me "Sanity Savers"
I'll post them later...
Please bare with me (us), this TR has been hard... nearly impossible... and I have just had bad stuff above my eyes it has been so deep.
If we can just get through 2014.... 2015 has been good, well if we can just keep the petty stuff at arms length.
I feel like the truck camper forum is family... extended but family. We have met some of you personally... hundreds of you.
Some have had profound impact on our lives.... most of the time with their wives. I could never name them all without looking at my contact list: The ones that always come to immediate mind.... Wayne, Jim, Rod, Ed, Derek, Steve, PJ, Bill, Ken, 3Tons, Budster, Jim Allen, Tim, Phyllis, Sharon, Suds, and many more. For most it has been their knowledge.... some their generousty... and some their kindness... and I guess a few their needs.
I want to "fix" 2014... please indulge me!

We are going back to Pats Fishermans Wharf.... the night we got there... March 21, 2014.
We were welcomed by Harveys sister who was running the resturant that night....
It was late and quiet in the bar.
Appatisers and cold beers.... on the house of course.
