I installed mine this weekend. Two of the grease holes in two shackles weren't drilled. I went to pre-grease all of the bolt and nothing came out of two. I had to drill them through (from the side.) That worries me a bit (quality) but I am glad I checked all of them. They would have never gotten grease.

When you grease after installation you should see grease come out between the bushing and bolt. If you don't, you might need to check for an undrilled hole.

The wheel spacing increased a little too which is nice so I can now use my better wheel locks.

I installed the Dexter kit about 2 years ago on my Terry 27ft TT. The shape of the spring hangers on this TT are different then what most of the trailers use as you can see. What I noticed was the front spring swing link had flexed enough that it had been hitting the front edge of the hanger denting it. The best I can figure is the spring moves more then expected and maybe the added flex of the rubber rocker allowed it to hit. I used a plasma cutter to radius the front side of the hanger for additional clearance.
I am also now beginning to wonder what the life expectancy of the rubber in the flex rockers will be?? The rubber on mine look like they have minor surface cracks and have decreased in length and increased the diameter under loading.

I "believe" Dexter stated the rubber would last the life of the TT.

I was able to get full kit K71-652-00 from Dexter for $149 plus shipping. Than I got the ball joint tool from Harbor Freight for $30 with a coupon. All this week.

I am still contemplating doing this mod. We just drove over some very rough highway on I-16 in Georgia where the porpoising of the trailer beat us up pretty badly. How much does this mod help with this problem?

Wow, that is a better price than I paid two years ago! If someone wants to do this mod, I suggest they get off the pot and get going before the price goes back up again!
Great Dexter price!
Here are all the various kits.

Alabama, I'm not sure it will help too much with porpoising but it does smooth out the sharp jolts and seems to make the ride better. If you are getting a lot of porpoising, perhaps your WD hitch needs adjusting a bit - usually by adding more weight transfer to the front axle of the truck.

I believe you will find two items that cause most porpoising problems. 1. A trailer that is nose high. 2. Low pin or tongue weight. The EZ-Flex helps the ride of the trailer. Helps protect the trailer frame and the contents of the trailer.

RCMAN46,

Neither of the reasons you suggest for my problem are true. First, my trailer tongue is slightly down from level. And my tongue weight is 980# with a trailer weight 6800#, about 14%. But thanks for the suggestions.

Are your weights from an actual weighing? I looked up your trialer and it has a dry weight of 6545. 6800 sounds a little light for a road ready trailer. Do you have the problem all the time? I had a rear bath 5th wheel that would tow OK when I was ready to go. It had the waste tanks behind the axles and the fresh tank in front. After dry camping for several days I would have a near empty fresh tank and the waste tanks near full. In that condition I would be tail heavy and the trailer was a bear to tow until I could find a dump station. The EZ-Flex is a great sytem do not get me wrong. My current Cruiser has the Equa-Flex and I would not have another trailer with out a similiar system. Also noted you are towing with a 1/2 ton. You may need to stiffen the rear suspension and install heavy duty shocks.
