No they can build fish ladders around the dam.
Bill
Hey if you lived in the NorthWest where dams generate most of the power you would understand that statement. The "Greenies" want to remove all the dams!
Then of course we would have devastating flooding and would have no control with water reserves.

Urban transit doesn't work in most of America. We lose over 40,000 people a year due to car accidents. Want to ban them too? That commuter train in Philadelphia derailed at 106 mph the other day.

There is a huge divide between ideological theory and practicality at any given point in time. The warriors on both sides are more interested in personal aggrandizement than public good.

Hardly.
I care not for idle chat about an industry that spews oil everyday on the planet, large and small, period.
I do care about new ideas and the help that comes indirectly to the RVer. Plenty of folks here recognize these changes and their potential. Has nothing to do your assessment.

It must be time to go, the suns out and I've got a full tank of diesel!
We have a granite fireplace hearth! Love to be a little different.

Back on the 21st, in response to a comment that the economy was doing well, I stated that the US GDP was only 0.2%. That has now been restated by the Commerce Dept. to be a negative 0.7%, the lowest first quarter since they started keeping records around WWII. The powerful said it was due to winter. I may not be an economist, but I am sure we have winter every year. Wasn't global warning supposed to stop that anyway.

Most Diesel in Michigan around $2.79. Although we are looking at a cooler and welter summer there this is a wonderful time to be in Michigan.
I am sure we will bust into hot summer soon but now it is just wonderful.
We go north to the UP in these months to get away from the heat, LOL. Diesel normally runs 20 cents higher up there.

Fuel still staying well below $3 here in Michigan. If you want to pay more go to the Flying J and pay $3.01.
Listened to a world leading scientist that thinks we are ramping up bad things for the planet. He had a great idea, I thought, place a user fee on all fossil fuels then turn that income directly back to the people that are working to use less of it. No real government involvement and a huge plus for the planet.
Likely will never happen but made for good listening while doing 80 down I75 this morning (no trailer if you are wondering)

Regular has been selling for around $2.41 here in Tucson for several weeks. Not much movement in the price up or down.
