Right on, Tomman, a year ago gas for the RV would be around $0.48/mile. Now around $0.34/mile, so 50% farther for the same money. I don't expect it to last more than a couple of years. People will buy their gas guzzling daily drivers as a result...

Gas prices seem pretty stable now but you need to, more than ever, watch for the lowest price as some stations are bumping up then backing off regularly.

Seen a new wind turbine that they claim if you put it on you house you would save 50% of electric costs. Guess if you had 2 you would pay nothing. plus is this is also very quiet. Future is looking better every day for the younger set.

Regular is back under $2 here in Tucson. Lots of stations selling at $1.99 with a few of the deeper discount stations closer to $1.90. Saw an article this morning predicting a 32% drop in prices by summer.... I hope so. [emoticon]

let's hope this prediction will be true lol

We are at about $2.50 in central Florida. Lots of difference between stations.

Boy if inflation stays under 3% and diesel under 3 bucks then our retirement is beyond wonderful! Now if we can just stay out of wars and the economy continues to grow everyone will do better.
Happy trails to all

Gee thousands of gallon of oil on California beaches, oil leaking from keystones pipeline in Canada, oil rigs on fire, but the price of gas isn't affected, who knew!
Before a standard refinery shut down raised the pump price or ,in fact, anytime there was a need for a few bucks, now not so much.
Kinda strange eh?

Minor spill in CA. Less than 5,000 bbls. They have been trying to get permitting for years to replace it, but could not get permitting due to environmentalist. Catch 22. Refineries shut down due to union strikes. Coal is still making your electricity. That is dirtier also. Wind and solar still holding at 4% of electricity production and 2% of our total energy.
