New truck still sitting at dealer, waiting to see if GM bumps its incentives before paying for it!
Also have the Regal GS there same song waiting for the incentives to be more before getting it.
You would think they would give me a bushel and case price for buying both of them! LOL

Oh that kind of makes me sad (giving up the Volt Lease), though I'm happy you are putting money into the economy by purchasing two new vehicles. I would love a "Volt" if I were in the market. Back in 2006 when hybrids were just coming out our family went with the TDI Jetta for the family car, and it's been a dream car for us, 115,000 miles and not a single repair yet, and never less than 43mpg and sometimes bumping 50mpg on the highway. I know cars are not investments, but when you get a good one that just goes on year after year not costing much but basic maintenance, that's a good thing. All the best with the new rigs, I seriously hope your new Duramax comes through on fuel economy, one of my work trucks, 2011 D-max doesn't get near the economy my personal 2003 does. Hans

Feel free to disprove anything. You two keep making absurd things like the world price of natural gas when you could know in less than a minute. Anybody with a passing knowledge of energy knows this stuff.

Hans, maybe I should've just bought this volt, it is fun, there are more and more out there now. I really like getting on it a beating some guy in a 1500 Dodge off the light then smoking him for a block or so. I also like people coming up just to talk about it. Maybe will get a Ford next as it is higher, who knows.
I was tempted to get the Regal with the electric assist but think I'll go for the race car. Still 30 mpg. Oh well still be a few weeks on the car have to open a few mattress' for the money.

Fezziwig, you have to admit after rationalizing today's world sometime playing with the simple is a refreshing break, LOL

LR: when you arbitrarily censor a post that takes issue with your prononouncement you often make gibberish of your own comments. So you look ridiculous. You would not make a very good dictator.

I never go back and look at old posts. Once is enough. I just respond to y'all's bizarre stuff.(like your CNG price drivel or somebody claiming to save the planet for his grandchildren bragging about jackrabbit starts when their Volt is recharged using mainly coal and fracked gas). I just call the BS when I see it. I have made many jackrabbit starts myself, but don't claim to be saving the planet. If you don't wish to be called on the BS, don't spread it.

Why waste time on this type of conversation? We know the facts, some invent them or search until some off the wall magazine confirms their mind set. This will not change.

It hard to make a n intelligent comment on topics that you have little or no knowledge in. It makes press for souls that have a shallow life that is all.

I was wondering how close to SF can I find a good camp area (trailer 35')?

What seems hard for you is disproving any facts.

I know, I only waste the minute or two when I can afford it, which is why I seldom come here. A couple years ago I carefully researched and composed a statement, but the (semi-literate) moderator trashed it rudely, so I bailed. Pearls before swine.

That's a tough one. Really tough. Especialy with a 35'. Even a 25' RV is difficult. Especially after the season has started.

I don't know, for sure.

looks like an explosion in electric will happen in the next couple years. Here is a site on the site that has some positive rather than negative thinking.

No link there. I thought you were getting rid of your Volt because the election was over and they stopped the half price leases. You were switching from coal fired electricity to gasoline from crude oil.
