Took 40 gallons here in central MA in preparation for the Memorial Day run up to Maine, paid $3.49. Also added 7.5 gallons of LP @ $4.13 a gallon.

Gasoline prices are inching sown up here. The lowest is $3.39. Most of the other stations are at $3.44. Keep your fingers crossed for lower gasoline prices this summer.

So I guess that means that you will continue to use your electricity from fossil fuels rather than equip your home with the existing wind and solar technology. It is legal and encouraged in your state. No credibility at all.

What makes it my business is when you constantly complain about fossil fuels and post misleading information about them when you use them almost exclusively. You even try to make others think you are not a green hypocrite when that is exactly what you are. When you actually provide electricity for your home with wind and solar, then you can take some credit and stop being just a poser. Hopefully your government paid lease will expire and you will have to actually spend your own money on something green. I doubt it.

Gas prices/cash or credit?
Not sure if this post goes here. We are traveling the U.S. and Canada and have found that in the U.S. they have two prices at most stations.
Some stations charge a flat .35 fee for using a debit card. Other stations charge a higher fuel price for credit/debit versus cash.
How does this work? Does the station really pay that much in commission for accepting Visa/MasterCard?

Well, I agree again. The problem is Tomtom continually brags about how green he is when he does almost nothing to do actually be green. Gets his electricity from fossil fuels and doesn't buy the commercially available wind and solar for his own electricity. If he wants to talk the talk, he needs to walk the walk or stop bragging to the forum about his great green strides.

Actually all retailers pay these fees but gasoline is so competitive and margins so slim at the retail station the owners want to show a low cash price but still recover the extra credit fees. Often the company credit card gets the cash price.

Whoops, those stations that lowered their prices have now raised the prices back to $3.49.
