OK, here's some pics from last summer.
DISCLAIMER: My DW decided that she was going to be the CG photographer, so some of the shots are, well, sorta' OK. She's a work in progress[emoticon]

Frist trip with the new to us trailer.
Haynes Point Provincial CG, Osoyoos, BC. We shared a double site with the lake as our backyard - awesome!

Konanee Creek PCG just north of Nelson.
Gorgeous CG and lake. Lake was FREEZING. That was OK because up the road a bit is Ainsworth Hotsprings - HIGHLY recommend checking it out.

Radium Hotsprings...anyone seeing a trend here (my wife is a hotsprings NUT). Only private CG we stayed at - Canyon RV Park. Very nice, but discovered that there's a Parks Canada CG called Redstreak just up a hill from the town that also has full hookups and is much more wooded.

Herald PGC on Shuswap Lake.
Great swimming and place to relax - translation: somewhat isolated, which is good.
Took this pic because we have a similar shot of "green shirt" boy when he was 1yr sitting next to his 3 yr old brother watching the trains go by across the lake - DW was 7 months pregnant with "blue shirt" boy at the time of the original pic.

Gordon Bay PGC on Vancouver Island.
When we lived on VI we would camp here every year when the kids were little with the rest of our family -upwards of 12 cousins running rampant.....good times!!
Tall trees really give nice shade.

Swimming here is probably the best I've found in the Province. Head out to the old-growth break-water and have log-rolling competitions for HOURS.

Well, that's it for now.
Will hopefully be able to get as much camping in this year, although I'll be moving a bit slower recovering from my knee surgery.....not that I was moving that fast beforehand.[emoticon]

Beautiful Kathleen Lake, 25 km out of Haines Junction (Alaska Highway) on Haines Road :

The campground itself is about 600 m away from the lake shore and offers great mountain views, hiking trails and fishing on Kathlee Lake and Kathleen River.

Kluane Kampground on Alaska Highway in Haines Junction:

Breathtaking mountain view and great hiking trail along Dezadeash River.

we camped at Sandy Beach campground in the Meadow Lake Provincial Park Saskatchewan. We were told Kimball and Greig lake is also a nice place to stay but we preferred Sandy beach hands down. Private, quiet, large sites with beautiful water to swim in. There were sites right on the lake but they were smaller and less private, we like the alone in the woods feel.

Our site was #1

The sites had these high fire pits that were actually kind of nice, not as much bending over getting the fire going.

you could even rent paddle boats or kayaks there.

this was the view from the Humphrey Lake tower, The hiking trail starts at the Sandy Beach campsite.
