ib516,
How did you enjoy Waterton and Mt Kidd? We are looking at those two places later in July.

We stay at both often. Waterton is great, with it's proximity to the "Going to the Sun Road" in Montana, and there is a great hike there (one of the top ten in Canada - Crypt lake).
Mount Kidd is (IMO) the nicest CG in the Cdn Rockies. Just hard as heck to get into, and expensive ($50/night for PWS). Tons of biking and hiking trails around there - too many to mention, also white water rafting, and more.

Thanks for the reply. I had heard is quite often very windy in Waterton. Did you find it that way?

Campsite was ok, but required a tight turn to park rig. nice privacy and free firewood! ![biggrin [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/biggrin.gif)
![[image]](http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m534/srworden/childslake2010.jpg)
Baldy Mountain had a great view (Yeah, it's not really a mountain to anyone outside of the praries)

Their is an old ranger cabin and a viewing tower up on top. Great veiws, of the rolling terrain. Best cellular service in the park here.

Childs lake has Water and Electrical, check Provincial park website for details on all sites. They even post pictures of some sites now.
I figured my first real post should be in the Canadian section
Bearhawk (n): A Plansbuilt Amature Aircraft. An expensive hobby that was replaced by 2007 29FBS Jayco Jayflight G2 & 2008 F350 Crew with 6.4L Diesel
At least this adventure flew off the drawing board and running out of fuel is not as dangerous! ">
