Hello to all,
I thought for my first post on this forum I would show you some pics of one of our favorite places to camp.![biggrin [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/biggrin.gif)

Ashnola River is just outside of Keremeos BC on the Ashnola Forest Service Rd. These campgrounds are not serviced and you MUST pack out what you pack in. The road is well maintained and accessible by most RV's. We usually camp at the Red Bridge Site, however the other sites are very nice also.

Rolley Lake Provincial Park Site #3.
Park is about 25 minutes from our place and is quieter than the other Park close by, plus it has a warmer lake to swim in.
Goofs (son & buddy) livin' it up playing badminton in the "driveway."

Pic from perch on a stump behind site. Oh yeah, there are the goofs again.

Canadian excerpts from our Vancouver to Ottawa and back trip:
Jellystone Park Niagara Falls. Great facilities, clean.
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_2296.jpg)
Indian Line Campground, Brampton. Nice municipal type CG. Well staffed. Funny "sideways" parking sites. Lots of green space and geese.
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_2376.jpg)
McCreary's Beach, Perth. Nice place. Ancient laundry facilities. Were attending a wedding so we didn't get much time to appreciate the place.
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_5543.jpg)
Ottawa Municipal CG. Nice big sites. Nice big population of mosquitos..haha. WiFi if you were about 100 feet from the office. 24hour security guard.
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_2622.jpg)
Chute's Provincial Park, Espanola, ON. Nice swimming. Big sites. Had to change sites because my power cord wouldn't reach as the "post" was found in the bushes inbetween adjoining sites - weird.
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_2797.jpg)
Travellers CG, Winnipeg MAN. Really nice treed sites when looking from the office. We were sent to the "parking lot" section instead. OK for an overnight. There is an adjoining waterslide park next door that looked OK.
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_2878.jpg)
City of Yorkton CG, SK. Better of the two options in Yorkton. The other (can't remember the name) had way too many full-timers of questionable appearances. City CG is old, but it did the job for the night.
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_2911.jpg)
Lloydminster, SK. City CG. Nice big sites. Good facilities. Found the local wave pool close by for the kids.
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_2929.jpg)
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_2930.jpg)
Glowing Embers CG, Edmonton, AB. Quite a few full-timers. Pretty good sites. GREAT laundry facilities (came in handy as we were there for 5 nights as our oldest son was a goalie in theCanadian Nationals Ball Hockey Tournament).
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_2931.jpg)
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_2932.jpg)
Tunnel Mountain II, Banff, AB. Pretty much camping on the side of the road. Great scenery though, and facilities are top notch. Would like to get into the "Trailer Park" section next time that has pull-through full hook-ups.
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_3153.jpg)
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_3154.jpg)
Sicamous KOA. Probably the biggest disappointment as far as CG's go. Facilities/pool were good but the CG is old (never seen such an ancient 30A receptacle) and has been "let go."
![[image]](http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj202/puckdad/IMG_3285.jpg)
Well, 11,514Km made for a long but very memorable 30 day trip. Found some places that we want to return to, but then again, there's so much we haven't seen yet!! Gotta' love RV'n eh?
Cheers,
Mike
