Near the Hoover Wilderness, north of Tioga Pass, Calif., in late September of 2019. Little trailer, big forest, bigger sky:

March, 2020, north of June Lake, Calif. The trailer is the little white box to the left of center in this first shot -- that's Mono Lake in the background:

And this is a view of the campsite from the other direction -- that's Parker Peak in the background:

Sitting behind the 600 yard line at a match. First time I went with no generator. My single battery no solar lasted the weekend running the fridge igniting the HW tank, running lights the radio for a bit. It was pretty much done Sun afternoon as the slide came in a bit slowly.

Normally when I go it is to hot to be without AC after being out all day. If I was going to do that, I would have stayed in the tent.

Grilled kilbasa, mixed veggies, and Dollar gen instant potatoes, that are surprisingly OK on one of my theft proof Camping world tables. Theft proof because they are about as ugly a color as possible, but they were on sale.
