Here's Sage Creek Campground in the Badlands National Park, SD. It was April 11-12, 2012. This is 13.5 miles off the pavement with no hookups. I was the only person there & shared it with the buffalo.

Renee,
Those are shades for the picnic tables. There are vault toilets as well. I had my Dish Tailgator out & got great sat TV.

WOW! Does it have cell phone service? Verizon, medical reasons preclude our being so remote we can not reach out.

I doubt if cell service reaches out there. I didn't try. I understand this isolated place gets a few more campers during the warmer months, but always has room. The gravel road is a washboard in some places.

This is what RVing is all about.
In all the advancing we can do to improve this world, the sharing of knowledge and wisdom is the most important.
If I post anything that inspires anyone, I did my part.
And If anyone inspires me to try to do better, I thank them now.">
