Cat Creek in the Eldorado Forest going East on Hwy 88 just past Ham Station

It took a few years to stack rocks enough to wade into 2 1/2 feet deep.

Camping in the Eastern Sierra. With the tent facing East, we awoke to the sun rising over the Sweetwater Mountains. This is a place that would be very hard on our fifth wheel.

Crane Prairie Reservoir, OR

This is a popular boondocking spot that a lot of people seem to know about, but after 45-minutes we were able to find a deserted spot down by the lake

The trail in was narrower than the TC in spots, but managed to avoid breaking anything. My rig is 12'1" tall at the highest point, which makes this type of thing a challenge.

Nice spot for a campfire, and absolutely silent except for the mosquitos

Great views from the shore 100' away. That's Mt. Bachelor on the right.
