Here was our most recent boondocking spot. We arrived on July 5 and had 6 glorious days and nights.

We shared this 95 acre lake with no more than 2 other camping groups on any given night.

Look closely and you can see our camp, about 1/3 of the way from the right side. The tallest tree is halfway from our camp to the edge of the picture.

I feel guilty about spoiling a local secret. I tried to PM you, but it says you don't accept PM's. This lake is in the Rio Grande Valley west of Creede, near Rio Grande Reservoir and Road Canyon Reservoir.

We were at Pathfinder Reservoir near Casper Wyoming. This is a county park, $7.00 a night for Wyo residents. No reservations, no hookups but outhouse toilets are spread throughout. You can just pull up and park also, not restricted to designated sites.

I read and view with envy, are there places as these where we may take our 35' motorhome?

We're old and not very good condition for the trials of that beautiful rough country. Looks like our bus wouldn't make those pathways.

We don't dislike kids, in fact we love them, but kids in rv parks get old quickly. Drunks are worse then kids. Those outback places look very inviting especially with a group of friends.

We live in Ohio and would enjoy scenic areas but would need access.

Those in Alberta were most intriguing.

Thank you for your help.
