Sounds like you got a good site....well away from the main road. Do post some photos....can't wait to see them.

Have a great time!

HAPPY CAMPING!!

This is where we will go in a few weeks for our first trip out this year.

It's 5-Mile Pass and is less than an hours drive from home. It will be a while before we make it up into the mountains, we had tons of snow this year.[emoticon]

Hello all.

Love your pics! Boondocking is our favorite way to go, too. Here is our favorite So Cal spot - about 1.5 hours from home, but worlds away!

This is in Los Padres National Forest. There is a flowing creek just on the other side of our campsite, too!

And another from a different area of Los Padres NF. (Lower elevation here.) Another creek nearby...

Hope to have more for ya real soon! The weather's getting real nice around here...

Wow.. some great pics out there! We are still frozen in the yard in northern Wisconsin, but here are some pics of last year drycamping and boondocking the UP of Michigan:

Who needs hoookups??? Ya don't get scenery like this in a manicured RV park, that's for sure.

ahhh this is the life:

Peace and quiet and tranquility...

and we feel that the appropriate view out the windshield wherever we park should be: The GREENER the BETTER !
