I need to load up everything and go to the scales, probably convince me to buy that F-450 a lot sooner. [emoticon] But seriously, I want to know the weights with the setup I have now.

CAT Scales Weight, Loaded: 21,140 lbs !!!

Yeah, I didn't know any better. [emoticon]

When I weighed the trailer it had all our stuff in it (we are full-timers) and the fresh, gray and black water tanks were all about 1/3 full, plus both propane bottles were full.

We now have a new TV and I have moved most of the heavier stuff to a box on the TV plus we don't travel with much water in the tanks.

The current TV is indeed one of the "Big Three" - Kenworth, Peterbuilt and Volvo! [emoticon]

Current TV:
2000 Volvo 770 Sleeper Cab, Tandem Drive Axles
Transmission: 10 Speed Autoshift
Axle Ratio: 3.58
Engine: Cummins N14, 14 liter, 435 hp, 1,650 ft lb
Mfg GVWR: 50,350 lbs
Mfg Payload: Not Specified
Mfg GCWR: 21,000 lbs
Mfg Curb Weight: Not Specified
Mfg GAWR: 38,000 lbs
CAT Scales Weight, Unloaded Low Fuel: ~17,000 lbs
CAT Scales Weight, Loaded w/Full Fuel: Not Measured (Yet)

We are now a "sticky". [emoticon]

And many are NOT overweight.[emoticon]
But this is NOT to go there but to see what people are towing with, what they are towing and how that affects their weights. So, no more comments about how others seem to be.

I haven't done the weights separately, but my 2006 Chevy 1500 HD, four door 2wd with 6.0 gasoline engine, 8.8kw generator in truck bed, with six 7-gallon gas cans (full), tank of gas, pulling my Colorado 32QB-M5-BS fifth wheel, with all the food, clothing, etc. (but empty tanks) crossed the scales at just over 18,700 pounds total weight of the combination truck/trailer.
