Here is another project that I have been working on. I wanted a good indoor/outdoor thermometer for the Minnie. I bought this and an extra sensor from Amazon. Upon powering it up on my desk after an hour all 3 items were within 0.5 degrees of each other and matching the thermometer that I have hanging beside the desk. I do like the big numbers and clock.

I have one sensor in the pass through and one mounted under the Minnie out of the rain. Where I put it was very definitely a compromise location because on a still day the afternoon sun where I have the trailer parked radiates heat from the trailer to the sensor. The best place would be under the center of the trailer but then I would have to crawl under the trailer to retrieve it before drive off. On my drive off check list I have a note to remove the sensor below the Minnie. One nice advantage to the system is that I can bring the readout in the house to see the outside temperature when not traveling.

How did you attach the supports for the shelf in your closet? I don't see any screws, did you use "No Nails"?

Thanks in advance!

So on my Jayco, I had this white pvc tube mounted for my sewer hose

thing is, the wife doesnt want this mounted on the tail of the Springdale. Says its ugly lol. So I've been putting the hose in the back bumper. I really don't like doing that as I already see a bit of rust on the hose, and I cant store the adapters in it, as they're too big for the bumper. Soooooo any reason I cant mount the tube in the pass through?? Don't think it would stink up the pass through or into the trailer would it??

I have used the back bumper for my hose storage with no problems for 10 years.

Before I put it away I drain the hose well by compressing the hose about a foot at a time while holding the hose vertically. This gets almost all the water out of the hose and I haven't been bothered by rust. YMMV.

Good to know. Maybe I just invest in a small container or bag for the adapters

I bought a 5 inch PVC fence post (white) painted it black and attached to the rear bumper (sits on top of the rear bumper) with black UV rated zip ties. Been there for three years with no problem. I would not put that slinky in my pass through for any reason. A benefit of the fence post idea is that I can put my fishing poles in the bumper space.
