Great idea on the Andersen levelers. I should add some rope to my set as well. It looks like you did something other than just a know to join the two ends, what are those black rings your using?

Yes, I overlapped the two ends about an inch and used two Tie Wraps. I then dropped a few drops of Super Glue on the overlap.

I don't think the picture is big enough can you enlarge it some more. I really like scrolling across the screen.

I agree with you. This website asks that you use a width of 640 when posting a photo to prevent these super wide photos.

I have to ask, why put the chocks between the tires when you have them on the ground? You seem to be using both. Belt and suspenders?

I just use two yellow ones on the ground.

I use air bags to level. so the wheels arent on the ground. This was just a trial fit.

Sorry, fits fine in my monitor. Perhaps time to upgrade?? [emoticon]

My apologies, I actually thought I had resized it, but posted the unedited version by mistake.

Just learning all about trailering with something longer than my 17 1/2' boat or pop-up tent trailer.

I accept any and all advice you can give me, and I hope to be able to help in my limited capacity. ">

Not really a "mod" per se, but a 'lil elbow grease and the result speak for themselves.

The front diamond plate stone guard on my trailer was a 'lil more dull than I'd like and with some spare time on my hands I started polishing. I used "metall" polish and "Mother's" brand aluminum polish. Now, there is bright mirror shine that simply wasn't there before. You may also notice a band in the center that's not polished (yet) to show how dull it was before.

Before: (actually taken several months ago)

Spray some clear lacquer over it and the shine will last a lot longer....
