We just picked up our new Bullet 248RKS and the mods/upgrades have begun :-)
Here's two of them:
I didn't like the wiggly steps so I put a diagonal brace on the back side of the step assembly's frame. Much more solid now.

I also lined the front of the storage area with pegboard:

Happy travels!

Did some wiring this morning. I use a CPAP machine to sleep with. It makes sure I wake up, alive. Our only 12 volt power source is on the opposite side of the trailer from the bed. I have to use an inverter because I'm too cheap to pay $100 for a 12 volt power cord for my machine. But, my power unit is real close to the foot of my bed. So I put a 400/800 watt inverter into the cabinet where the power unit is. Wired it up to 12 volts, and plugged in a very short extension cord. I plugged that into a unit designed to plug into a wall receptacle that provides one 120 volt plug, and two USB plugs. Mounted that on the outside of the cabinet. And it works! It uses almost no power when there is no load. One less problem. The link above is to the outlet I used.

Here's our ongoing album of mods to our 2014 KZ Sportsmen Classic 19BHS:

Below are a few highlights, much more in that album linked above.
Anybody with a Sportsmen MUST do this mod, seriously: These are awesome and a perfect fit. Took out the closet bar and added these stacked drawers (who hangs pressed clothes camping??? We have added command hooks inside for jackets/sweathshirts. Target and Walmart carried these when we got them. Fairly certain they are this product from Sterlite - http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-Medium-Modular-Storage-Drawers-Set-of-6-White/15940599
NOTE - The bottom drawer doesn't fully come out due to the lower closet trim piece, but I plan to build a small sub floor to raise up the drawers past that point.

Custom built plate holder, just some birch plywood and small dowels. Still need to put in hooks for the mugs and organize the other side.
![[image]](http://i.imgur.com/FSQZnUH.jpg)
DIY struts, cause it's kinda heavy, but it's really the holding it open that's the problem, not the initial lift.
![[image]](http://i.imgur.com/BgVcshn.jpg)
Added a nightstand shelf on the back of the dinette which is right next to the bed. I should have took more care with the cut, but from a distance it looks factory.

We just LOVE these felt bumpers in our house on every door and drawer/cabinet. When we go the trailer they were a must. Makes midnight trips to bathroom or cabinets less disturbing for those sleeping and adds an element of quality feel/sound.

Stuck remotes here with velcro to be removed when needed. These little bins are great for keys and change and turns out they have yet to slide off from here during travels.

Finally, the only mod that matters. Handy and quick access to open that next brew. ![wink [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/wink.gif)

We just bought a Keystone Cougar 26RBI. More than enough room moving from our Shamrock 19' Hybrid. The pantry is huge but only has a 1/2" lip on the shelves so I could see us opening the door to find everything o the floor.
This is just temporary until the off season when I'll remove it, shape it to match the existing shelving and stain it but I didn't want all that smell from finishing while I'm camping
I simply took some 1x3/4 and ran a dado through it to capture some 3/16" plywood The plywood pieces slide into the guides and that 1/2" shelf lip keeps it in place and provides the strength. When we arrive somewhere the pieces are slid out and shoved under the dinette benches.

I have to ask, why put the chocks between the tires when you have them on the ground? You seem to be using both. Belt and suspenders?
I just use two yellow ones on the ground.

It is easier to roll out of the stabilizing chocks, like the wood ones or X-chocks, that it is over the yellow ones. The stabilizing chocks stabilize and the ground chocks prevent rolling.

Maybe you users of Andersen levelers might find this handy. I used 1/4" rope to make it easy to pull the levelers out when getting off the levelers. These work from either side. DW likes them since she will be pulling the blocks.
