Finally. The poor ol 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L just got too tired and was pretty much done at 160k. Would've taken too much money to do anything with it. So the ol wife and I went out "just to look" of course and ended up with this...

2011 Tacoma double cab V6 4x4 SR5 w/21k and 6400lb tow cap. Got it a week before going to Gettysburg PA for 5 days with my Kodiak 195 hybrid. Loaded its roughly 4000lbs. What a difference lemme tell ya. I drove there taking a different route than I normally took. Scenic route with lots of hills and curves - and in the rain. Very good. On the way back I took 116 back which is CRAZY hills. It would have killed my Jeep, seriously. Feels SO much better.

2009 Kodiak 195. Absolute JUNK.

Trying again to post the Tow Vehicle with Eagle Cap Camper on board in Valley of Fire State Park.[image]

If my picture post works..I'm making progress. The 2012 F-350 Super Cab XLT LWB SRW 6.7L Diesel has a few extras. I added a PreLuber so Oil Pressure is up full before engine starts and runs 60 seconds after shut down to cool Turbo. Added Timbren Suspension Enhancement system instead of the usual Air bags, added TorkLift Quick Release Stable Loads, Tork Lift Frame Mount camper mounts,Rancho 9000XL shocks, Hellwig Big Wig Front and Rear Sway Bars, added Front Receiver Hitch for antenna mount, Icom IC-7000 HF/VHF/UHF Ham Radio and few other goodies.

Heading south this coming week.

That may be the smallest 5er that i've ever seen. If i was still single, that would be something that i would enjoy camping in.

Momma, the two kids and I have fun with it. We've even had my mom along too. There actually are smaller ones then mine.

We loved ours too! Great trailers. Sturdy as heck. Ours had 1 slide even.
