Drove 285 miles round trip last Thursday to buy my new PUP - a Viking 2307. Set it up Saturday in my driveway to learn its systems, and plan to camp this weekend. My wife and I love to tent camp, and have done so for years. We decided that we would like to camp when it is a little hotter or colder, so our new PUP has both a furnace and A/C.

Pics to follow - probably after this weekend's travel.

Congrats to both KWM and MickandDawn on our new pups! I look forward to some seeing some pictures.

KWM - It's our first pup but we love our Starcraft. You got a great model.

MickandDawn - I've heard great things about the Viking. You did the move just like we did. After years of tent camping we finally moved up and love it. The good news is we still have the tents for the overflow or if we decide to relive old times.

Happy Camping to both of you.

Hi there!

I'm new to this forum and thought I would share some of my photos. We just went on our first trip and had a great time.

My parents had a very old Starcraft when I was a kid. And now that I am 31 I thought it was time to buy one for the family to give my 5yr old and my 5 month old some great memories like I had growing up. It's not a Starcraft, but this Rockwood sure did do well this last trip. We are going again real soon before the season gets too cold.

Here are a couple of pics or our recent trip to Kaw Lake. This was our first time using our new PUP - and the first time my wife and I have ever used anything but a tent.

Our PUP/TV combo has morphed over the years. We are now towing the big Niagara with an even-larger Ram CTD. We retired the minivan, because long climbs up steep grades proved too much. The minivan never broke down, but travelling 35-40mph in a 60mph zone is embarassing and borderline dangerous.

Okay, here's my PUP. Got it in January 2007. It's a 2007 Fleetwood Niagra. Our first. Love it. About 16+ days camping this year. The picture includes my 2 boys and was taken at an RV park in Tualatin, Oregon this summer.

We love the room in this model with the slide out. Oh, one modification we had made to the trailer, we had the dealer flip the axle. Gave us another 4" of clearance. But, we do need to carry blocks for the stabilizer legs.
