Dam West at Carlyle Lake in Carlyle, IL. Site 62. Electric only. New, large asphalt pads on some sites. I'm sitting at the picnic table taking this pic. Good space between sites.

How did you like this Park?
We're thinking about taking a trip there soon.

I was surprised to find it 3/4ths full when I pulled in at 2 p.m. last Friday. The wind was terrible Saturday, and a rescue was performed on a sailboat in distress. Enjoy your stay. We probably won't be back until Memorial Day weekend.

We had a great family trip to Stone Mountain State Park in Georgia. Plenty to do to fill up 2 days. The campground was nice, but a little old. Our section (blue) had a little breathing room, but all other loops were packed like sardines. I would not have been pleased. Also, many of the lakefront sites had absolutely NO place to sit out. The one we had reserved even had a little box cantilevered off the hillside to fit a picnic table. We moved to a site with plenty of space. We had a great view. The mountain in the back is the back side of Stone Mountain. We could see the fireworks each night from camp.

I think the photobucket site has an "edit" section where you can change the size.

Which site # were you on there?

If it's photobucket, then while the photo was in review mode - small - you then right clicked on it to copy the image address. What you need to do is first select the photo by clicking on the review image, then in the enlarged mode right click and then select copy image address. Then in RV.Net, enter 640 x 480 for the image size.
