Turkey Run State Park, Marshall, IN. Site # 193.

One important thing to look at when booking at Turkey Run is that some of the sites share a power pole. The adjacent site; 191, had the pole ~10' from the pad. Our site; 193, the pole was ~60' from the pad. I had to use all of my shore cord plus a 50' extension cord to reach it. Ended up using only 15 amp service all weekend, which wasn't a problem since it was cool enough I didn't need the A/C.

Turkey Run SP, site #187
We were thankful for the shade (and to be the closer of the 2 sites sharing the power pole) since we were there during the HEAT of early August.

This is our favorite site 30 at Brighton recreation area. The red pines are so stately and very relaxing place to be. Campground is very close to home.

Here's our (old)trailer and (old) truck at Lake Somerville S.P., Texas. I thoroughly enjoyed mountain biking on the trails and the beautiful lake, despite the fact we went in June (2008) and it was too bloody hot. There was so much wildlife and wonderful flowers. The picture with the red glimmer on the water (below) is actually red flower petals that fell onto the surface of the water.
