We just took a trip to Western Wyoming - here are our stays along the way -
First night - Riverside Park and CG just below the dam at Palisades Reservoir in Eastern Idaho near the Wyoming Border South of Swan Valley. $13 a night for electricity only. Power was bad at our site so they only charged us $10 and we used our generator for the night to watch TV on our satellite -

The next six nights, we stayed here - Falls CG, Loop A off the Togwotee Pass between Moran Junction and Dubois, Wyoming. Loop A has electricity ($20 a night) and this campground has two water spigots for filling. Loop A has four pull throughs, but one is used by the host. Loop B has no electricity ($15 a night) but there are many sites for big rigs, both pull through and back ins.

Our last night out, on the way home, we stayed at Massacre Rocks State Park. Right on the Snake River. We were in the Upper Loop, site 13, back in ($20 + 6% tax a night). Lower level is not recommended for big rigs as the road has a tight turn and you have to be very careful. We stayed in a pull through in the lower level last year and had to back out as there was no room to pull through.

Wow, what a coincidence. We were on Site #13 3 nights ago!!! The first time we were at that park was 15 years ago and again, we had Site #13.

Gravesat, that is a beautiful campsite! Is this part of BLM or what? I just wonder how one goes about finding such a gorgeous site.

Thanks for the kind words. That was our first visit there but will most likely not be our last. On our last day there, I noticed something I had not seen before. One of the trees had been the target of an artist!!
