MPond,

I just Googled their website...and it seems their prices for RV sites are pretty high during the summer: $53.00 a night + $5.00 for each extra person-5 years are older. [emoticon] Am I missing special something about this RV Park? Do they have a pool/hot tub, playground, game room for that price? Any other info concerning the campground would be appreciated.

Thanks for the photos....I have been trying to find a nice campground around Glenwood Springs, CO.

HAPPY CAMPING!!

They have a cool outdoor bar / lounge where we had dinner and a couple beers one evening, and the onsite activities include a ropes course, rock wall, zipline, etc..., but that costs extra. No pool or game room that I'm aware of, but the kids did enjoy the playground.

The price was high, but it was worthwhile to be right near Glenwood Springs. We had a really nice stay there.

If you're headed that way with kids, the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park was a lot of fun. I'll be posting my trip report in a few more days, which will include lots of pics from there.

Great pics MPond - been to most of those towns but stayed a different places. Really liked seeing the other RV parks, especially Mesa Verde didn't realize it was so spacious. We stayed at the Ouray KOA and took a "day" trip to Mesa Verde.

Thanks. We were on the road for a month and took about 3500 photos. Right now I'm trying to edit those down to a reasonable number for a trip report - I'm about 90% done and will post it soon.

We love going to Town Creek Campground in West Point, Ms. The best campsite in the park, #70. From there you can see all the barges that travel the Tennessee Tombigbee River. Absolutely LOVE it!!
