Bakerkids we looked at that site when we were up there 3 weekends ago for a marriage retreat our church treated us and 6 other couples to, some of the CG's up there are a little tight for me but some of those sites that are on a little outcrop of land are awsomesome.

Darwin, did you mean the sites are short? Some are very long and level, but there some some short and unlevel. You never know. I usually write the site numbers down of those I like. Did you visit the four other campgrounds at Rend? Did you stay there during the retreat?

Our church camp is located by a small lake, and I sometimes take my T@B there during youth camps, but for couples' retreats they like us to stay in the "dorm-style" rooms. Sending some "off" to a park would be great, though!

I wish i could remember the names of the CG's at Rend Lake, then i could be more exact on which sites we liked, by tight i mean to close together, and the ones on the points of land were tent sites i think, but they were very big and open, and right out on the points, we stayed in the cabins at the lodge.

These are from our trip to Vogel State Park in North Georgia, about 60 miles from our home..we had a fantastic site on Wolf Creek, it was awesome having the water flowing at our campsite.

This looks like my "dream" campsite!!! I love to hear water like this and have wished to find a CG with sites like this. What site # were you in? Does the water run all year, or does it dry up at some point? Thanks for sharing! Hope we can get there some day!
