Good morning everyone. Another hot dry day yesterday. It's already in the 70's this morning with a high in the 90's sometime today. Sue just left with the girls going for their morning walk. I don't have plans for the day, just take it as it comes. Tomorrow is the first of June and vacation time is officially here. I think most of you are retired so it's vacation time any time you want to take it.

Sue contacted her bother John trying to see what their plans are for July. Sandra his wife is in New York on business so he will check with her when she gets back and then let us know what's going on.

Burch I was thinking about the trips we've made to Fort Wilderness and Disney Land. The magic there is wonderful for kids. We carried all of our grandchildren there and made some wonderful memories. I still had my professional camera equipment so I made some beautiful pictures. My Mamiya with the Jones bracket with the Sunpak flash mounted on top made an impressive looking set up and it was heavy. But I made it through the days without too much trouble. The reward was the beautiful pictures I still have in the scrapbook.

Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

I was just thinking about pictures last night. The only pictures I took during the Fort Wilderness/Disney trip were of our campsite. I normally take tons of pictures when we take a trip. I guess we were so busy with going to all the parks and doing things it never occurred to me to take pictures. I guess we will need to go back now! I will have to save up for awhile though as my credit card statement is frightening to look at. Disney is fun but is not cheap!

Good morning everyone. It was a cool 62 degrees this morning when we got up, still no rain. Burch the pictures are nice, glad you enjoyed your stay at Fort Wilderness.

We don't have any plans for today except Sue will be at the triune Center for the homeless giving out food. Today's temperatures will be in the 80's so it won't be as hot.

Last night we went to Red Lobster for an evening meal, lot's of food on one plate, so we brought home food. Sue is about to walk out the door with Dixie and Suzie, going for their morning walk. Lizzie will perch herself on the window sill watching them as they leave.

Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

Garage sales this weekend were a big success. Got rid of a lot of stuff. Selling stuff cheap, but hope someone else can use it. What doesn't sell will eventually go to Habitat or Goodwill. Still a basement full of tools although Terry sells table after table. Most are his Dad's tools and he had a woodworking shop in the basement! Plus parts and accessories are stacked ready for use on the apartments. When we owned the apartments in the subdivision, we kept all manner of tools and parts to fix anything that might be broken. The people who bought our duplexes are buying this house, so they want us to leave a lot of those things that will be useful to them. Good deal for them and we don't have to move it all.

Tomorrow we leave for Mississippi for the family reunion. MinnieMee is ready and waiting in the drive. Have to clean and dust her inside today. That will take about 20 minutes. LOL Just a week trip, so not a big job loading. Anxious to get on the road again.

Good afternoon everybody. Dale be careful on your trip to Mississippi. It's June 2nd and the weather today is not that hot. We still need rain. Today at church our youth n=minister and wife resigned as they are moving on to bigger and better things.

With the beginning of June begins the count down to July and our maybe trip to Michigan and Ohio. My eye sight seems to be changing often now. I guess the cataract is growing or changing shape which affects my sight.

Suzie and Dixie were just barking like someone was at the door. I thought I heard a car door shut but when I went to look there was nothing.

Okay I need to go so I will close wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

Good morning everyone. For the last two days we have had a small black kitten hanging around the house. It shows up on the back patio at night and early morning. It acts like it wants to be friendly, but is afraid when you get close. I called our neighbors and our new neighbor says he has been feeding it so maybe it will take up at his house.

We are in need of rain. It is so dry the ground is cracking. The temperature yesterday was in the high 80's and it will be that way the rest of the week.

Suzie and Dixie are out with Sue for a walk. It is 69 degrees right now so it is nice outside. I hope all is well with everyone and I wish you a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

Good morning everyone. It's cloudy and 67 degrees this morning. There is some hope of rain today but the better chance is Thursday and Friday. Last night when I let Dixie and Suzie out for their last chance to take care of business before going to bed, the black kitty was in the back yard and got chased. For some reason it wants to stay in our back yard or close to our house. It belongs to our new neighbor and is confused on where it belongs.

Our well is running out of water[emoticon]. We have had a problem ever since we have been here. I called the well man yesterday to come out and see what we need to do. most likely we need to bore a new well.

Sue is walking out the door with Dixie and Suzie, going for their morning walk. Lizzie is sitting in the window sill watching them. She really wants to go with them, She loves Sue so much. She is definitely Sue's cat.

I hope all is well with everyone and I wish you a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

It's been really dry here in Florida. My grass is turning brown and is getting crunchy when you walk on it. The only good part is I don't have to mow it since we've had no rain.

Yesterday was Murphy's 16th birthday! She can't hear or see very well but she still gets along well and is full of energy. I am taking her to the vet on Saturday for her yearly checkup. I also want the vet to see about her cough. She has been coughing a lot lately for some reason.

Here is a picture I took of Murf last night as I was singing happy birthday to her. You can tell by the look on her face she wasn't impressed.
