Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. It was a great day. 78 years old, it's great to be alive.

Happy Belated Birthday, Richard. Glad you had a great weekend. I'm thinking Dixie ate a bunch of stuff that could be toxic to dogs. Maybe Dr. Doug can chime in with some advice. Hope she gets along okay. We're taking Duchess "home" today. My vet of over 35 years has scattered all my dogs' ashes in his orchard around his apple trees. Butterscotch and Duchess both loved apples. We meet him at 8:30 today to hand over our precious cargo. He's been a great vet for us and is semi-retired. Good morning everyone. Dale sorry about Duchess. She had a good life and is now waiting at the bridge for you and Terry. Dark chocolate is deadly for dogs while milk chocolate is that toxic. Anyway she is fine this morning, just as lively as ever. Suzie is still going strong and we are so blessed she is in such good health. It was nice to visit Waynesboro. We wanted to visit the old home place but the owner wasn't home. It seems there is some work going on with the house, so maybe he is doing some necessary repairs. I don't know when our next trip will be, nor do I know where we would go. It seems there is a lot going on that would keep us close to home so we will wait and see. I hope all is well with everyone and I wish you a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |

This could be a life saver for you. We have some state parks in South Carolina and Georgia that have only 30amp service. The power box will have two 30amp receptacles in it and most new camper are 50amp service. A new product on the market that allows you to hook into both 30amp receptacles by way of a "Y" adapter and feeds into a 50amp female plug that plugs into your camper giving you 60amps. We ran into that situation this past weekend at Magnolia Springs State Park in Georgia and the "Y" adapter saved our weekend. Check this out 50amp and two 30amp plugs |

Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful morning here in the Deep South. So far Dixie is doing okay, haven't seen an ill affects of her eating the Reese Peanut Butter Cups. Suzie, well we don't know if she got any or not, but she seems to be okay also. Sue is doing well, walking out the door with the girls. Me, well I am finishing my coffee while sitting here at the computer. Lizzie just complained that she is not going and is now watching out the window as the threesome walk across the lawn heading towards the street. Yesterday when we went for our evening walk we were joined by a Golden Retriever that belongs to one of the neighbors, so naughty. He was obsessed with Suzie and Suzie wasn't too pleased. He followed us on our walk and then when we went inside he went next door to investigate the baby goats. After that he went back towards his home. It seems he is the evasive kind and when he doesn't want to be caught he runs, so we watched the show as his owners tried to catch him and put a leash on him, so funny watching this. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |

Good Morning FOOFs. I am glad tax season is over! I have Friday and Monday off work and we are flying to Biloxi, Mississippi tomorrow morning to stay at the Beau Rivage resort for 3 nights. It's part of the MGM properties and they fly us up and give us rooms for free. I guess all that money that my wife puts through the slot machines pay off. My niece is going to stay at our house and watch the dogs. The dogs love her so I never worry about them when she watches them. Murphy is doing really well and doesn't act her age. She can't hear very well and her vision is going but she still acts like a 2 year old Jack Russell. Her 16th birthday is June 6th. My other dogs are all doing well. Monty still likes chasing squirrels but he is really getting fat. I need to start walking him more and try to control his food intake. I hope everyone has a great day! The motorhome is in the shop. Don't know if I related we had a problem a couple weeks ago with leveling, so we haven't been using our jacks until we got them looked at. We took her over to Charger Enterprises in Elkhart yesterday and they watched while I ran the jacks up and down. We couldn't duplicate the problem, but it's obvious one of the jacks is broken, so they get to keep her and work on it. Hope they can find one. They are obsolete and no longer made. Tonight we fly to Florida. Because of the planes taken out of service (737's) we got bumped back to a 7 p.m. flight from a 5 p.m. flight. So we land in Orlando around 9. Son Brandon will be waiting for us. He earned another incentive trip for his company and we are going to babysit for a week for Brynlee and Lily, the golden doodle. He loves his company and his job. The last 7 out of 8 quarters he has exceeded his quota in sales. Suffice to say, the company loves him too. LOL We are all ready packed and are going to head south 45 miles and take my mom tacos for lunch and then we are going to mosey on down to Indy. I like to get everywhere early, so we will probably sit in the airport and people watch and have some dinner later. Mom spent 2 winters in Texas with us after Daddy died, but we sold her place this year and she now is in her park model in my sister's woods. She hates the cold, but she is so much better. She sees her doctor every 3 months and he has pretty much fined tuned her meds to where she is doing very well for almost 94 years old. We feel fortunate to still have her and that she lives on her own and takes care of herself. God bless everyone and your fur kids too. I sure do miss mine. Dale |

Good morning everyone. Dale sounds like you and Terry are busy, Dr. Doug hope you enjoyed your birthday and Burch enjoy your time off now that the tax season is over. It's sprinkling rain here this morning but nice out temperature wise. The camper is finally clean inside and now to take care of the outside. All the holding tanks are empty and the monitor reads empty. Half time it reads as if something is still in it. The only unite we have ever had that the monitors read correctly was in the motorhome. Sue is wanting to plan a short trip sometime soon before I have eye surgery. So I guess a weekend trip somewhere close will be in order. Sue just got back with the girls. She said it is misty out and turning cooler. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |
