Good morning everyone. Jeff's father is improving, still has a long way to go, Thanks for the prayers, he needs them. It's 35 degrees here in the Deep South, cloudy with a slight chance of rain. We will dip into the 20's tonight as well as tomorrow night. Our chance of snow is now next to nothing, but for the mountains they have a better chance. The Mega 1.5 Billion dollar winner finally claimed his winnings. Don't know his name but he lives in Simpsonville, South Carolina. I bet the scammers are hard at work trying to find out who he is. I will be watching my neighbors to see if anyone shows up with a new Ferrari or a new Lamborghini. I am still having trouble with nausea and discomfort in the prostate area. Last night was a restless night, up and down, up and down all night. My PSA is very high, but so far no cancer has been detected. The medicine that was given me, I can't take because of the side effects. This morning it was hard to get up and moving, but here I am still breathing. Okay I need to get moving so I can walk the girls as Sue had gone to the public school to teach the bible. This morning's lesson is about Jesus being tempted in the wilderness. I wish everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. 2016 Ford F250 King Ranch Crew Cab 6.7 Power Stroke 2015 Montana Model 3611 with 4400 Pullrite Hitch. He loves to be outside and with all the oak tree pollen and droppings right now, he comes in covered. He doesn't like to be brushed but he puts up with it. We had a situation here in Florida a few years ago where someone won the lottery and his girlfriend ended up killing him for the money. Of course she got caught. It wasn't a big win (only about 1 million) but because of a greedy person his life is gone. I think if I won that much money I would quietly disappear with the wife and doggies. Although I think in South Carolina lottery winners can stay anonymous. Not so in Florida. |

Not so in Florida. Yes you are correct. But I can imagine the dishonest folks can find a way to identify the winner. |

Good morning everyone. It was 23 degrees this morning when we got up and the high today will still be on the cool side. Tonight the low will be in the twenties again before turning warmer in the days ahead. This morning has not been a good one for me as I didn't sleep that well last night. It's seems there is always something that is going on with me lately that keeps me from feeling good. The fur gang, that is Dixie and Suzie are well, waiting on Sue to take them for a walk. Lizzie is looking for attention and someone to play with her. She is such a sweet cat, always wanting to be close to someone. She follows Sue all over the house most of the time carrying something in her mouth wanting Sue to take it from her and throw it so she can chase it. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. |

Good morning everyone. It's 27 degrees here in the Deep South this morning with clear skies. Sue is walking out the door with Dixie and Suzie for their morning walk. Lizzie is watching out the window I guess wondering when she will get her turn to go with them. She stays at the window until they get back and then she greets them at the door. Today Sue and I go to the church to get our pictures taken for the new church directory. The last one we had made was a good one. Saturday morning I have to be at the Greenville City Airport early as I am a judge at the car show being held there. It is supposed to rain Saturday morning so I don't know how many will show up. The car show is in a hanger so at least it will be in out of the weather and Bar-B- Q will be in the making for everyone to eat, just hope there is enough turn out to justify the man coming to prepare the meal. Looking forward to warmer weather and spring time. The cold is wearing on me as I am ready to get outside without freezing. I hope all is well with everyone and I wish you a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. Remember Daniel McMillan in your prayers as he still has a long way to go before he is able to leave the hospital and be with family. |

I hope everyone is staying warm. It only got to 63 degrees here yesterday which is too cold for my Florida blood. It was 43 degrees when I left for work this morning. I had to work in our Tampa office today and I don't look forward to the traffic going home this afternoon. I75 can be like a parking lot during rush hour. We are taking a one night motorhome trip on Saturday. I haven't used the motorhome for about a month and want to give it a shakedown trip. The owners manual says to run the generator for a hour a month with at least 50% load so I will run at least one of the AC units on our trip up. Just staying at Lazydays resort in Tampa. I was really surprised I was able to get a spot. There must have been a cancelation as it is hard to get reservations anywhere in Florida during this time of year do to the snowbirds. Unless you make reservations a year in advance, good luck finding a place. I hope everyone has a great day! Burch |

Good morning everyone. Burch enjoy your weekend. It's raining here this morning in the Deep South but it is not too cold. The forecast for the weekend is for more rain but warmer temperatures. I looked at a 1963 Pontiac convertible with tri= power engine. It's like new with a lot of restoration work being done. Those old cars really fascinate me, especially the rare ones. There is but a handful of the Tri-Power convertibles left as most have been rode hard and put up wet. Of course they want more than it's worth and most likely will get it. There is always someone with enough money to buy something like that but for us poor boys it is way our of our league. Now back to things at home. The fur gang is well with Dixie and Suzie waiting for someone to take them for a walk, while Lizzie is waiting on someone to play with her. Sue and I are well, mostly that is. I still have some aches and pains going on. I hope today will be a better day. The camper is sitting in the back yard just waiting to go some where. Maybe in a few weeks the weather is going to turn to spring and we will be able to go camping for the weekend. The car show was called off because of the weather so I don't have any plans for the weekend except to stay home and watch the rain. Okay I need to get moving so I will close for now wishing everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them. Daniel McMillan is off life support and is doing better, He had a pace maker installed yesterday that has helped him a lot. Thanks for the prayers. |

Good Morning FOOFs I was able to get another night at LazyDays resort for tonight so now we'll have two nights in the motor home for a hopefully relaxing weekend. I have had the motor home at camping world for a month to get a slide leak fixed. I have had them work on this issue once before but it didn't get fixed the first time. They called me Wednesday and said it was done. I was a little startled by the price but didn't care as long as it was fixed. The work order said they replaced the tape that runs the length of the slide roof against the inner fascia. They also said they cleaned the roof and applied caulk on the crack. Does this look like they even worked on it? This was a picture I took when I got home last night. ![]() Needless to say I am NOT a happy camper. They charged me $75 for tape (that wasn't installed), $14.99 for caulk (that wasn't used), $110 for "shop supplies" and 1 hour of labor at $135 an hour. I have had good luck with Camping World in the past so I am hoping this was just an honest mistake. Not sure what "shop supplies" would be so I will be taking that up with them. I am not going to let it ruin my weekend and luckily there is no rain forecast so I should be good. Ok, enough complaining. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Burch |

Sorry Burch, that is why I search for RV repair facilities and look at the reviews. I prefer mobile RV outfits, better labor rates, no overhead. Today we are looking at low 60's and the nights have been in the mid 40's. A few weeks ago we had a few inches of snow, really unusual for Saint George, Utah, but it even snowed in Las Vegas and Tucson, weird weather. 2001 Trade Winds 7390 Toad 03 Grand Am ![]() |
